Cute little House

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I had a great time in the Black Hills recently. The house is centrally located in Custer and made our sightseeing a lot more enjoyable because of the proximity of a lot of the sites. I would highly recommend staying here if you want a comfortable place to be at night after a long day of traveling the black hills. On a surprise note, the bed was extremely comfortable. Setting up the reservation and the instructions of getting into the house made it extremely easy. Thank you for our stay.

Good location to visit western SD

  • 3 of 5

Older and smaller home with basic necessities. Clean and convenient. Perfect size for two people. Don't expect a luxury home. It worked perfectly for a few days while visiting the surrounding area.

Great little cabin in the middle of everything

  • 4 of 5

It was great to have more space than a motel room and to be up in the mountains, away from the city. Everything went smoothly, we had no problems at all, and my daughter even swears the roll-away bed is the softest bed ever and wants one for her own bed. Thanks for everything!

A Nice Home Base

  • 5 of 5

Great home base for visiting all that the Black Hills offers. In 3 days I traveled to Rushmore, Sylvan Lake, Wildlife Loop, Needles Point, Deadwood, Jewel Cave and the Reptile Gardens. Most drives were less than 30min, with the max of 45. 1 block away from a grocery store and great pizza place. Clean. Easy access. Quiet area. No complaints here. Plenty of space for myself & 2 children. I would stay again.

In the middle of everything!

  • 5 of 5

My daughters and I really enjoyed staying here. The house is small (as advertised) but had plenty of room for the three of us. We had everything we needed. The house was clean and well maintained.

For us, the best feature was the location. It was so convenient to everything we wanted to do. It allowed us to really take advantage of the time we spent in the Black Hills.

Cute little cottage close to Custer Park

  • 4 of 5

The cottage is actually bigger inside than it looks from the outside. It fit 2 adults and 2 teens comfortably. It has one bedroom with a full size bed, a pull out couch in the living room, and a cot which we didn't even need to use. The kitchen is a nice size for a vacation rental. We loved playing frisbee in the yard, walking to downtown Custer (could walk to get groceries) and the short drive to Custer Park. It is in a quiet neighborhood. The only downside to this property is the incredibly small shower stall, but since it was only for a week we could live with it. The owners are very nice and easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.
