Quiet but Short Walk to Town

  • 5 of 5

Very convenient location. Quiet, but within a very short walk to downtown. The home was very clean and had ample towels and blankets. There was good communication with the rental agency (Stay Summit); Smooth T]transaction. Would stay again!

This is a great place to stay in Breckenridge

  • 5 of 5

If you want to go to Breckenridge and you have 4-8 people in your group, this is a great option. The house is well kept and well appointed, the owners are helpful and easy to work with, the location is excellent and views are spectacular.

We had two adults and three teenagers with us for three days. Everyone had a bed and there was plenty of space so people could gather or go their own ways. It had a nice kitchen with everything you need. Great hot tub that was easy to use and had great mountain views. The windows of this home do a great job of showing off the mountains, too. There were even nice extras, like devices to dry your boots and gloves. It was great to have a washer/dryer and a garage to protect the rental car from snow and to stash stuff.

The location was probably my favorite thing. It was a short walk to Main Street. We walked a couple blocks to a nearby park for sledding. The kids walked a couple blocks to the ice arena for skating. A free bus picks up every 20 minutes very close to the house. We took that to the free gondola to the ski areas (I don't personally ski but this house was located great for skiers.) There is even a free bus that runs to the next town over where the kids went snow tubing in Frisco.

Finally, once you book the place you will get immediate outreach from the management company with offers to help book activities, etc. When I had questions, they responded quickly and helpfully.

Most times when I have rented a vacation home something has always turned out to be a bit oversold or disappointing, even when the place works well. In this case, the house met or exceeded my expectations on every front.

My only caution for future renters is that I think more than 8 people might feel crowded and sleeping arrangements could get tricky unless everyone is comfortable being cozy. The beds were nice. The king bed in the master bedroom was especially comfortable. Then there was a queen on the main floor and twin beds on the ground floor. Then you are down to couches/fold outs. Also, the ground level could be chilly.

We went during the week in the first week of April and got pretty lucky. Good weather driving in and out from Denver but a fun 15-inch snowstorm while we were there. This timing was good because it was not terribly crowded, as most spring breaks were over and the ski season was ending. Restaurant waits weren't long, buses weren't packed, etc.

If we are back in Colorado I would definitely rent this house again.

Well Maintained - Great!

  • 5 of 5

This place was great! About a 10-minute walk to town and a great view of the mountains! The place itself was very comfortable. Amenities were very sufficient (plenty of plates, glassware, tp, towels, ice maker, etc). It's a cute and well-maintained condo with its own character (and not cheesy). There is a television in every bedroom as well as a nice, large smart TV in the living room where we were able to access our Netflix. Took us a bit to realize that the hot tub can take a while to heat up, but it was great! There was a handy "home manual" we referenced. Overall, a great place to stay. You get quite a bit for the money and if we ever go back to Breck, we'll stay here again! :)

Very nice accommodations, and right price

  • 5 of 5

If you want a custom bathroom, kitchen, trim, pay two to three times as much and go somewhere else. If you want nice amenities, a superb location, and a very fair price, this is the place. I plan on asking for this rental home again, and would recommend to anyone. The hot tub overlooks the ski slope, the shuttle is 150' away, and downtown is literally a 3 minute walk. Grocery store a 5 minute walk, brewery 3 minutes, etc. love the place. The only thing that I can complain about (not a complaint), is the dishwasher lights didn't work. Dishwasher did, so no problem. If that is the only issue, I know I will be back. Thanks

Close to Town with Incredible View

  • 5 of 5

Mark's condo in Breckenridge was perfect for our stay! There were guide books available to us, which included suggestions for skiing, hiking, and dining in town. These resources made the town and opportunities very accessible. The kitchen was well-stocked with basic appliances and cookware, the grill and hot tub were excellent additional features. The home was close to downtown and also had an incredible view. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
