This top-floor condo won't disappoint... sweeping views of the slopes, an outdoor private hot tub, high-end finishes, high ceilings - you must see this property!This impressive property has cathedral ceilings and windows throughout, flooding the unit with natural light and breathtaking views of the mountains. Enjoy cooking in the well-appointed and upgraded gourmet kitchen (with heated floors, stainless appliance, granite) and all new upgraded bathrooms. You will have front-row seats to every sunset from the large deck. The outside deck has a large private hot tub on one end and plenty of seating on the other where you can enjoy unobstructed views of the slopes.

This home has a king master suite with a TV and ensuite bath. The second bedroom features a queen bed with twin trundle and a shared full bath. There is additional accommodations for 2 with a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.

GETTING AROUND:

This property is just steps for the free shuttle stop and downtown. Guests may take the shuttle to the gondola or the bus directly to the base of Peak 10. This location offers the best of both worlds, walk to restaurants, shops, and bars and a short ride to the slopes.

PARKING: Parking in Breckenridge is strictly enforced. To avoid towing or a ticket adhere to posted signs and parking allocations at all times. If you need additional parking for more cars, paid overnight parking is provided by the Town of Breckenridge in two areas of town, 1) south of town at the Stephen West Ice Arena and 2) north of town (also accepts RVs and trailers) at the Airport Road satellite parking lot.

Great condo with a beautiful view.

We really enjoyed our stay at Breckenridge. The town is great, lots to do, in town and around the area. We ate at several restaurants and never had a bad meal. The condo was great, the hot tub was just what we needed after a day of hiking or walking around town. The trash was a little hard to find. Finally just walked around the alley area and found it. Our overall stay was top notch. The only draw back was all the stairs at the high altitude. Can't wait to return though.

Fabulous Views ... But a Lot of Stairs

When renting this property, there are a couple of things you should be aware of. It is on the top floor of an office building. There are three flights of stairs from the garage (which has a very tight parking space), and two flights from the front of the building (where there is limited pay parking). At altitude, carrying up luggage and groceries can be a challenge. The deck and the view from it are wonderful, however, once you get up the stairs. The unit has just about everything you would need, and the management company is very accommodating. When we first arrived, there was a problem with air in the water lines ... for everything - faucets, dishwasher, toilets, showers, etc. We notified the management company that it appeared that the problems occurred on days that one of the office tenants was in the building. I'm not sure if they have fixed that, but that was an ongoing irritant having water spurting all over the place when you turned it on. The shuttle was very convenient and right across the street.

Beautiful views from 3rd floor

Overall, the property is described well. Spacious 2 bedroom condo with awesome access to Main st in downtown Breckenridge. I know the description specified the 3rd floor but I have to emphasize that's it's 3 flights of stairs at 9,600 ft elevation. I wouldn't rebook this property since I live at sea level and experienced pretty bad altitude sickness and climbing 3 stories was pretty miserable for me. Not to mention lugging our suitcases and groceries...the property is very nice and the views are outstanding but the heating system took a very long time to work and an abundance of windows prevented efficient heating. Also the kitchen was not well stocked for actual cooking. Need to replace knives and maybe provide a decent knife block. Mixed review for management company...many of them were helpful and friendly but one person in particular was not. The previous review prior to our stay indicated that the cable in the loft was unavailable but it wasn't fixed before we got there OR when I called management to address it. This is unacceptable when paying nearly $400 per night. Hard to get in and out of compact parking garage. We still enjoyed ourselves on vacation but I'll opt for a different property when we return to Breck. Also beware of booking fee whether you book through VRBO or SkyRun directly.

Owner's Response: Katie, We are sorry that you suffered from altitude sickness, its unfortunately not uncommon for folks to suffer who are coming from sea-level; there are several oxygen rental companies in town to help offset the negative effects of altitude sickness. Regarding the property itself... those beautiful penthouse views come at a cost - stairs! We do mention the stairs in the What To Be Aware of Section in the Description. Also, we think having an assigned underground parking spot is a luxury in Breckenridge even if it is tight under there. And finally, we too wish that we could have resolved the loft television issues but you prohibited SkyRun from entering the property during your stay. We are sorry that you were disappointed with your stay but we know this is an exceptional property with beautiful views and reviews. Take care, ~SkyRun Staff

Beautiful home with beautiful views.

Upon arriving we were pleased that the home was just as beautiful as it was represented in the pictures. We were very impressed. We took pictures on the deck everyday. We just couldn't get over the view! The mounted binoculars were an awesome touch! The hot tub and grill were in clean working order and we enjoyed using them both. The kitchen was well equipped for it being a rental. We really enjoyed cooking in there. It was also stocked with a few spices as well as coffee and a coffee maker which was a nice surprise. Another thing we enjoyed was the crows nest! Great views and such a comfy place to relax.

There were a few reasons we didn't give them 5 stars though.

1. They tack on a pretty hefty cleaning fee in addition to the cost of staying here. Due to that, we were displeased with the hair left in the shower (we opted not to use that one at all) as well as finger prints all over the windows of the crows nest.

2. We had an issue with the TV's. All the channels worked fine downstairs, but upstairs most of them didn't work. Or we would be watching a channel for a few minutes and then it would prompt us to enter a PIN to keep watching. We didn't spend a lot of time watching Tv, but after spending most of our day hiking, we wanted a few minutes of lazy lounging before bed.

Beautiful condo

This is a beautiful condo in a great location. The view is incredible and it is located right in the heart of downtown Breckenridge. It was well stocked with everything we needed for a weekend stay. It is a bit difficult to find since the door to the stairs is marked with a massage therapist office. The 3 flights of stairs were no problem for us, but may present a bit of a challenge for some. It was nice to have the reserved parking space since parking in downtown can be a bit of a challenge. Be aware that the spot in the garage is a tight fit. You certainly aren't going to get a large truck or SUV into it.

Amazing place

We love staying in this condo. It's a beautiful place, located right off Main St., prime location and walking distance to most things in town. Yet, quiet, private and priceless views. Equipped with everything you need.
