We loved the first floor location. ,The condo was nicely furnished and had spacious rooms.
We had a great week with our family
Love Villamare! Condo could stand a little updating but it was very clean and certainly met all of our needs! View was fabulous and the first floor made things very easy. We rented bikes and had chairs and umbrella delivered which made traveling so much easier - very reasonably priced! We came with other families and loved the beach access and pool. Totally recommend it!
We chose Villamare 1103 for the value and amenities. Condo was well appointed and in good condition. The view was spectacular, and the property amenities suited our family very well. The couches were comfortable for sitting; we didn't have need of the sofa sleeper. No complaints with the beds although I prefer a firmer mattress. The weather was perfect for the beach and pool; not too hot or cool. We visited the indoor pool but didn't spend a lot of time there. Our son spent a fair amount of time in the workout facility. He found it better than most condo/hotel complexes. We spent a total of 7 nights and cooked most of our meals. Villamare is conveniently located to Shelter Cove where you will find a big chain grocery store, shopping, and entertainment some summer nights. We would have enjoyed the summer concert/movie nights; those started mid June so we missed this opportunity. This was our first trip to Hilton Head. My husband and I really enjoyed the stay; our adult children are spoiled and prefer 24-hour entertainment. It wasn't Disney World or a cruise. If you like to bike, I recommend renting bikes as you can get almost anywhere on the island with a little pedal power (and who couldn't use a little more exercise!). My husband and I would certainly stay again in this condo. This condo is on the first floor and very accessible (ground floor is parking, access to swimming pool, beach, etc.). No waiting on the elevator if you don't mind climbing a few stairs. And parking is covered. Great idea folks!
This villa was in great condition and very conveniently located. There was easy access to the pool and beach. Complex is nicely landscaped and the outdoor grills were great. We cooked out 2 nights and enjoyed hanging around the complex.
The Villa was in great condition and very comfortable. It is in a great location on the property with easy access to pool and beach. It was a great week!!
The Villamare Complex is nice-large pool, kiddie pool, nice beach, nice landscaping. My kids enjoyed the turtles and frogs in the ponds. Location of the complex is great too- gated community, bike paths, general store up the street. You could even bike over to the Shelter Cove Marina across the highway for activities, dining and even the fireworks (every tues night in summer) and avoid the major crowds. The first floor location of this unit was perfect. Very short, easy walk to the pool and beach. The ocean views from the balconies are nice too. The furnishings are a bit tired and outdated and the kitchen and baths could use a re-model. If you don't do much cooking on vacation, the kitchen is fine. The cookware is limited and what is there is a bit old. The cupboards and fridge are cleared out every week too so you have to bring everything down to the salt and pepper. We ate out alot more than we had planned but that was ok as there were plenty of options nearby. I would stay here again unless I found a more updated first floor unit that was cheaper.
