We are a child-free couple who love to call Vancouver home because of its awesome beauty, access to recreation and great urban environment and central location for travel by air, water, car, bicycle or on foot.

Main Street offers such a variety of eating and entertainment choices within short walking distance. Beyond, Vancouver's many and varied neighborhoods each have their own uniqueness to discover and enjoy. We love to explore our own neighborhood as well as other areas of the city.

We travel a lot and much prefer to stay in rented suites, apartments or houses than hotels. Finding out about other cities and what makes them special is as interesting as the people we meet while traveling.

We enjoy helping our guests get the most out of their stay and our city - so they can get a sense of what makes Vancouver special - rain or shin - it's one of the best places to call home. We hope our guests agree and call Vancouver 'home' while they enjoy all that the city are area have to offer.

We travel a lot and love to discover new places and meet people, but we also love to coming home to our own city and rediscovering why we chose to live here.

We moved in to our home when it was new back in 2006 and since then we have come to enjoy the many benefits of our quiet street and the surrounding neighborhood. We are in the geographical center of Vancouver - so access to water, mountains, parks, recreation, downtown, highways and ferries is another reason we love our home, our neighborhood and our city - and hope that our guests come to appreciate some of the things that make this corner of the world special.

Ideal accommodation for two

Nicely furnished and well situated, close to Main Street, Vancouver. The property is well fitted out and ideal for two people. Less than 10 minutes walk to Main Street which has an array of shops and restaurants. We had an enjoyable two week stay and the owners were friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay here again.

This place is a gem! Very clean and comfortable, the pictures shown reflect the reality! Very well situated, close to everything, and easily accessible by car or bus. David and Dominique were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed! They were also a great source of information with good advice for our sightseeing! Would definitely go back!

Perfect in every way!

Staying at David and Dominique's garden suite was a fantastic experience. I booked at the last minute and luckily it was available for my 5 night stay. I was travelling for business and typically stay in a hotel when in Vancouver. I wanted to try a more spacious and comfortable option. When I booked David asked me the time of my arrival and since I was arriving late (10 pm) David offered to pick up a loaf of nice bread, jam, butter and cream for my coffee to give a good start to my work week. This was over and above service and was so refreshing.

The garden suite had everything I needed:

- super comfy bed with high quality linens

-nice water pressure for a hot shower in the morning with great quality towels

- 3 choices of coffee makers

- quality coffee and cream -also choices of teas

- zippy wifi

- small thing, but the hair dryer was a pro quality blow dryer

-central location -15 mins to the airport /10 mins to downtown

- very quiet

- nicely decorated

- street parking was always available

I'll book David and Dominique's garden suite again and highly recommend it.

Cosy getaway

We have just spent two weeks in this lovely, compact garden flat. It is very quiet and well appointed, in fact I almost felt guilty I didn't do any cooking. Main is only a short step away with lots of good eateries etc. David and Dominique were helpful and knowledgeable and we look forward to returning at some future date

Quaint Garden Suit :-}

I arrived in Vancouver from Edmonton on Feb 7/17, there was more snow in Vancouver than Alberta! This was very unusual. Owner David had all the walks shovelled and sanded when I arrived. He walked me through the suit...it was very clean and well decorated. I had all the appliances and then some. The grocery store/coffee shops and more are within walking distance.

My friends also visiting Vancouver(HomeAway) lived a 15 min walk from my place which was ideal.

The area I was in has mature beautiful trees and well maintained character homes:)

I would highly recommend this HomeAway to anyone.
