I am an Artist and Musician from Key West Fla, i used to live in Arkansas about 14 years ago and i always wanted a 2 story cabin on the river and my plan is to build 2 more and eventually move back and live in one
Zack purchased this Cabin in 2018
Why Zack chose Murfreesboro
This property is on The Little Missouri River in Murfreesboro Arkansas and the Fishing is Awesome this Beautiful little Town has a lot of History, about 3 miles away and 100 million years ago there was an active Volcano that erupted and caused a lot of very High Quality Diamonds to make their way to the surface which is now The Crater of Diamonds State Park that is open to the Public and over 30,000 Diamonds have been found since the mid Seventies, some worth well over a Million Dollars, and just a few miles away is the amazing Archaeological Find of The Ka da ho Indian Mound Builders ,also Lake Greeson and Narrows Dam is just a few miles away'. This Property was once a Native American Campsite and during the Civil War this property was a Woolen Mill that was built and run by Slaves to make Confederate Uniforms, The best thing besides the Great Fishing is the Nature, there is lots of Deer, Squirrels, Rabbits, Hawks , Eagles, lots of Birds and much more
What makes this Cabin unique
The Fishing is Amazing not only is this the spot where 1500 full size Trout are stocked regularly but there are lots of other fish here to catch including Big Bass .You can find lots of Crystals and there are alot of Native American Artifacts like Arrowheads and you have a pretty good chance of finding a Diamond or many different kinds of gems and Rocks

This cabin is great for separate groups or couples wanting some privacy. It has 3 different entrances so each group can be alone. However, it has great porches and the top floor has the kitchen area. Jacuzzi wasn't working but owner is great!!
Thanks so much for renting with me,I'm sorry about the jacuzzi,I have to remove it , because if there is a problem I won't always have time to fix it between renters ,but im glad you enjoyed your stay and if you book again I will give you a discount for that reason, thanks again, Zack
Location was beautiful. River right outside the front door. Cabin was clean and stocked well. Plan on taking coffee if you enjoy it in the morning coffe maker and filters are provided. Seating in the upstairs is limited as the units are set up as more of a sleeping arrangement. But we had folding chairs with us which worked well. Yard games provided with a fire pit outside to enjoy the evening. Close to all activities, downtown square is fun. Owner was very responsive and accommodating which I appreciated. Thanks for allowing us to use your cabin. We enjoyed it very much and the kids had a blast! No diamonds. Make sure you bring boots if your going to hunt diamonds you can loose a shoe.
Idyllic Country Getaway
Location is idyllic in every way-great campfire, small & calm river walking distance (great for kayaking) and close to Murfreesboro attractions and restaurants. It is a beautiful property. The main ‘living’ space is upstairs and can only be accessed from the outside; that arrangement would work well with combined families. Ka Do Ha Indian Village is a much better attraction for families with kids than the Crater State Park. Restaurants are all closed on Sunday so bring food or plan to drive. There is a Dollar General 7 min. and it’s fully stocked with groceries (however it’s best to bring some of your own for more than a 2 day stay). Thanks Zack for a wonderful retreat away from busy city life! We might suggest a binder with WiFi password, owners contact information, local restaurant hours, and attractions-we had that at other HomeAway stays and found it very helpful.
Thank You for the great review,I'm so glad you had a good time ,and I hope you come back again ,and I will definitely put some binders with local information, thanks again,Zack
Location was perfect for a family with small children!
All of our family went and we really enjoyed the cabin. The beds were wonderful!!
Thanks you so much for everything, you guys are amazing,I can't wait to have you back on my time, lol, thanks again
Wonderful and peaceful Place
We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin was clean and had what you needed to prepare meals. The beds were very comfortable. We had a great time on the river and going to the Indian village, Crater of Diamonds and Hot Springs. If you are looking for an out of the way kind of vacation this is perfect. The owner is very helpful and wants to please. I would recommend this cabin to anyone.
Thank you, for staying with us and we hope to see you again and thanks for the review
Exactly what we needed
Thank you for letting us stay at the cabin, it had exactly everything we needed such as, coffee maker, coffee filters, microwave, stove, oven, pots & pans, cookie sheet, dishes, silverware and paper towels. We had plenty of towels even with 4 children and 3 adults. The kids got to play in the river, skip stones in the morning and after 3:00 pm when they do the water release we got to enjoy listening to the bubbling water from the deck and BBQ (with the charcoal BBQ). The Crater of Diamonds state park was minutes away. It rained a lot so, if you want to do the diamond field during periods of heavy rain we suggest rubber boots, otherwise you'll lose your shoes and if you go barefoot the rocks are rough on the feet. We also ventured up to Daisy State Park to do a little shore fishing and had an awesome time catching little bluegills. Zack's directions got us there without a problem and he is such a pleasure to work with. Thank you for an awesome time!
Thank you for choosing Diamond River Cabins,it was great to have you and please come back anytime, and thank you for the nice review
Diamond River Cabins sits where a Factory was built around 1863 during the Civil War with Slave Labor to make Confederate Uniforms for the South, Hence the name Old Factory Site Road. There is a lot of History right here and there is lots to do in and around Murfreesboro, the biggest attraction is the Diamond Mine located about 10 min from the Cabin,The Crater of Diamonds State Park is open to the public 7 days a week and you can keep what you find and alot of Diamonds have been found, the Fishing is Great right where you are especially if you like Fly Fishing for Trout you are at the right place ,the State regularly Stocks the River with Trout right here at Old Factory Site, also Lake Greeson ,famous for its Bass Tournaments is about 5 min down the road. There are many Native American Artifacts waiting to be Discovered. The famous Archaeological find of the Kadaho Indian Mound Builders is also a few miles away or maybe you want to hunt for Crystals, Mt Ida is only about 45 min away where you can find large beautiful Crystals, the Famous town of Hot Springs is also only a 45 min drive. When you get Hungry you can either go to the local Grocery Store or check out one of the Mom and Pop type Diners with Great Home Cooked Meals or you might prefer the Sonic Drive Up,if thats not enough you might want to sit on the front porch in your Rocking Chair and listen to the River flow by and enjoy the Nature With the Deer,Squirrels,Rabbits, Birds Eagles,Hawks and much more,so what are you waiting for ,see you soon.
