Nice little cabin

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time. The cabin was small but nice and the location was close to the village where we spent a lot of our time.

Clean cool cabin perfect for a weekend ski trip

  • 4 of 5

Cabin was close to mountain, clean, and comfortable for 4 of us. Had all the amenities of home including kitchen equipment, bathroom necessities, and comfy beds. Get there before dark because the roads are narrow and icy and expect to shovel your own path to the front door, or just do what we did and trudge through. They accommodated our dog as well and were very happy overall.

Must have 4wheel drive

  • 2 of 5

We arrived withover 2 1/2 feet of fresh snow snowplow did not plow until 4 AM the next morning. Very difficult to gain access to the house. Owner was not helpful told us to "walk up the hill." House was not very clean kitchen was filthy and animal hair was on the furniture, very dusty. Took two weeks to receive the refundable deposit.

Owner's Response: Holiday Traveling can be stressing. You arrived to the Property and immediately called me yelling and complaining about the traffic up the mountain (you said it took you over 5 hours to arrive) and said you didn't like the snow. Maybe you should've checked the traffic and the weather before hand? Street plowing is something the City does, as they did. Didn't they? Cabin is cleaned up after each guest. Sorry to hear your stress and bad attitude ruined your Vacation.

Great location in Big Bear for Couples or Small Families

  • 5 of 5

Our family really enjoyed our annual trip up to Big Bear, CA over the NYE Holiday. The cabin is cozy and warm, which was really nice to have after playing in the snow all day. The kids loved the loft upstairs playing games and enjoyed each having their own Single Bed to sleep in. The deck in the backyard is a nice addition with a new BBQ if you care to make your own dinners.

Access to the cabin is fairly easy, but there is a steep grade to get to the cabin, you should be prepared during Winter months with chains or 4 Wheel Drive to make sure you can access the property. We had our 4x4 Ford F150, so we didn't have ANY issues at all.

Thanks to Gabby, everything went smooth. We received timely communication for our stay, with codes, addresses, and tips for enjoying our stay in Big Bear. Thanks so much for everything you did to make our family vacation one to remember.

Cozy and convenient

  • 5 of 5

This was my first experience renting a cabin. It was a great experience everything that I was expecting. Cabin was perfectly equipped with all necessities for a two night stay. My son was able to stay entertained with toys and games. It happen to snow the first night there and was able to use the sleds provided the next morning. Everything was very close walking distance and drivinng. I would recommend for a family of four.

Thank you Gabby!

Wonderful Getaway

  • 5 of 5

I have traveled to Big Bear for over 10 years. I came across this charming little cabin and my family of 6 recently stayed there and this is my new go to cabin. Not only was it the best vacation, this cabin is the first one that was so clean and felt like home which to me is extremely important. The backyard was beautiful and my dog had the run of the fenced in yard. The bbq grill was a great feature as we love to cook our food outside. I will be back again with my friends, since I found this gem of a cabin, The walking distance to the lake was only 2 blocks. It is extremely quiet & located on a cul de sac. We are planning several trips during the winter so we can enjoy the snow. The slopes are only 5 minutes away. This cabin is our home away from home. Can't wait to go back.
