A small piece of Charleston heaven!
The style and location was just what we had wanted. A garden brick walkway to the off-street apartment, just says Charleston. Nicely decorated apartment with room for two and a parking spot. The apartment was used for sleeping, showering and planning our day, and then effortlessly getting to where we wanted to go. I found the nearby coffee shop in the early morning. Walking to restaurants and sites was easy. We took a Palmetto Carriage ride and the city section selected sent us right past West street. We enjoyed our stay.

The apartment was so quaint and quiet. It’s in a great area of Charleston and very close to King street. Melissa was great, keeping in contact with before our stay and allowed us to get in a couple hours early. We loved the space, perfect for two and it was nicely equipped and decorated. The parking space was an added bonus.
A Charmer, Ideal Location.
I am reluctant to add yet another 5 star rating for fear I’ll never be able to book this sweet little piéd-a-terre again! It’s a 3 minute walk to the corner of King and Market Sts., shopping ground zero in Charleston. It’s also a lovely morning walk to the finest south-of-Broad residential streets, and the iconic Battery. Café Framboise, great for breakfast and lunch, is literally around the corner. The photos are accurate—the kitchen and bath are tiny, but functional—the bedroom and living room areas are colorful and very cozy. It’s a great advantage that the condo opens to an enclosed, off street parking area, with no street traffic noise and yes, the included parking space is essential. Just ideal for a couple. I’ve stayed all over the downtown area over the course of many years. The value and location of this condo are unbeatable.
Charming and accessible
9 West Street was a delight and we very much appreciated the care and taste that the owners took in decorating and equipping the apartment. Parking was a little tight for our van but manageable (and FREE). Walking to virtually anywhere in the Historic area was easy and fun. Many thanks to Melissa and Rick for providing a warm and comfortable alternative to hotel life. We will be back! Bob & Pam
