Freshly remodeled and outfitted private mid-century home on a large lot, with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, approximately 1900 sq. ft, private south facing pool area, infrared grill, patio seating for 8, 4 lounges, pool games, floats, vintage pinball machine, tabletop arcade game with 400 old school video games, 5 HD flatscreens, whole house audio, spa tub in master bath, mid-century furnishings and artwork. All furniture, electronics, artwork, dishes, glasses, etc. were brand new mid-2013. Bedding and towels replaced annually.
We have recently added a commercial grade misting system to the patio, which keeps the patio area much cooler in the hotter months.

This home is officially registered under City of Palm Desert Vacation Rental Permit No. 37339. Sorry, we do not offer monthly rentals, but only shorter term weekly and multi-week rentals.

About Scott Bennett
We are San Diego natives, and grew up living the active outdoor lifestyle. Still avid tennis players, we found ourselves visiting the desert more and more over the years, wanting to enjoy the excellent tennis and the relaxing lifestyle the desert has to offer. A perfect day for us would be a competitive mixed doubles match in the morning, followed by a Mexican food lunch on El Paseo, and then a relaxing afternoon sitting in the sun, reading by the pool.

We looked at properties in several different desert communities, and chose this property because of its privacy, proximity to shopping and restaurants, and overall style. It is a wonderful place to be, and we feel very lucky to have found it.
What makes this House unique
Completely remodeled in 2013, this property has modern amenities, but still has a mid-century flair. The kitchen's appliances are all stainless, the range is gas, and there is a dishwasher and trash compactor. The TV's are all HD flat screens, and there are a total of five, including one in the outside patio area. There is a separate sound system with a CD player, iPod/phone jack, and built in speakers that are room selectable. There is a small game room/office off the pool area with a cool 1970's vintage pinball machine and a work desk. The overall feel of the living areas is very bright and open. The patio area is south facing, giving it prime exposure. The master bathroom features a jetted tub and a very spacious rock style shower. The bedrooms can be made to stay dark all day, for those late morning sleep-ins when you just want to relax. The furnishings and artwork throughout the house have a mid-century vibe, and are tastefully done. We tried to offer all the modern amenities that everyone wants, but not at the expense of sacrificing the mid-century feel of the home. Hopefully you can agree that we pulled it off!

We had the best time!
The kids loved the pool! The misters and music system was great! The beds were so cozy. The house had a great layout for us girls to drink wine and chat, while kids played games or watched a movie. Can’t wait to go back! Great location to too all the shops!
Great place to stay for festival weekend!
My friends and I really enjoyed staying at Scott's place for Coachella weekend. The house is a fantastic space that very comfortably sleeps 6 people, and the pool and yard were great. Great communication with the owner too. Would definitely recommend for a festival weekend stay or otherwise.
An attractive and most comfortable home that is perfect for a family or small group of friends.
Spent two weeks here with family, plenty of room for everyone, good kitchen, did plenty of cooking. Swimming pool is the highlight and the misting system around the shaded area outside is an excellent way of keeping cool and comfortable. Only suggestion would be to remove the wall to wall broadloom in the master bedroom and replace with laminate or hardwood flooring to match all the other rooms. Would definitely go back and do recommend to others.

We love this house. It's perfect for our family. We love the location, it's well equipped, well managed, and really clean. This was our second time staying there and we'll be back.
Great vacation stay !
Great place to gather with the girlfriends. Sun and a pool at your fingertips. Fantastic shopping. Walking distance and the Saturday market walking distance the other direction. I just would suggest people have their tourist info gathered before getting there. Other than that , I certainly recommend it to others. We will be back👍

Additional information about rental rates
Refundable reservation/security deposit is $ 500.00, due upon booking. Full balance of payment due 30 days before stay. AC/Pool Heat is included in daily rate. Cleaning fee is $199.00 per stay. Pet fee is $ 20.00 per day/100.00 per week, one small dog only (under 50 lbs) , upon approval. Damage protection fee is per stay. CANCELLATION POLICY: Full refund of reservation deposit if cancellation is outside of 60 days prior to stay. Inside of 60 days prior to stay, reservation deposit is subject to forfeit. Inside of 30 days prior to stay, full rent amount is subject to forfeit. Owner will cooperate with tenant to accommodate cancelled stays by offering alternate dates whenever possible. Standard check-in time is 4:00 PM. Standard check-out time is 11:00 AM. Owner will try to accommodate tenant requests for special check-in and check-out times when the calendar and cleaning schedule allow.
