My wife and I must have looked at about close to 500 properties all the way down the east coast of FL. What we wanted was spectacular ocean views from every corner of the house - nothing between us and the ocean. And we found it! Nothing compares to the views from our condo. This condo is absolutely stunning and we are very fortunate that we were able to buy it. The building has won many awards and is probably the nicest looking building on the shores. Very upscale.

What makes this condo unique

Views. Views. Views. Not kidding - but this was the only condo we saw with living, dining and kitchen with unobstructed ocean views and two direct oceanfront suites and a third river view suite. We saw a lot of good looking condos with great views but seriously we were blown away by this one. If oceanfront is what you are looking for, you really ought to give this one a shot.

Clean, well kept and in a great location!

My family rented the property recently and could not have been happier with the experience. There were a total of 6 adults and 3 children who stayed at the condo and there was plenty of space with each family having there own room with bathroom! The kitchen was such a nice bonus as well being able to throw a quick meal together or storing snacks. You will also be amazed by the view. You will quickly see the pictures are nice on the website but wait until you sit in the living room or on the balcony and look out over the beach, absolutely beautiful. Pool is great as well with quick and easy access right down to the beach. Great location with plenty of activities and restaurants for all your needs. Our son attends Embry Riddle which is just a few minutes away, so I will certainly be checking in the future for the availability of this condo as we plan all our visits! Don't pass by this listing! Thank You to the Coopers for sharing your property!

love this condo

this is our forth visit to the Ashley condominium and our third visit to this particular condo. We love everything about it...the condo itself is very spacious, clean and comfortable. the ocean view is amazing and Joe and Nayomi are a pleasure to deal with. We plan on coming back year after year.

Another Wonderful, Incredible and Awesome Stay!

For the second year in a row, we were fortunate enough to stay here again, taking in all that the area and beautiful beach has to offer. The condominium was as we remembered it, HUGE, spacious, and able to accommodate our family of five. In fact, months leading up to our visit, our kids were so excited to be revisiting the 'Ashley Condo' and talked about it over and over again. We were equally as excited to return again and enjoy this incredible place.

We love this unit! For our family, it feels like a second home, and the Coopers are fantastic to deal with pre-booking and during your stay. When we arrived, the condo was spotless, and we were welcomed in to that incredible view that we had waited a year to see again. With plenty to do in the area, there was never a shortage of places to visit, shop, or eat for that matter (be sure to try the Wally Wings at Houligans).

The pool was warm and the people friendly, even with our three kids sometimes gleefully shouting with excitement. We spent plenty of time on the beach, as it is literally out your back door below. We also enjoy the convenient underground parking, and trolley carts in the garage to load baggage or groceries on to take upstairs to the condo. Traveling in April provided us with incredible sunrises and sunsets with warm, dry weather. The kids loved watching pods of dolphins swimming in the ocean from the balcony on two different occasions -- such a highlight!

On several evenings, we walked the beach five minutes to Crabby Joes on the Sunglow pier. Great vibe, fun atmosphere, and great food. I think anyone visiting will agree that there is a definitive reason why the Coopers have so many great reviews about their condo. It's just that nice!! Exactly as pictured, with no surprises. I think you will love it -- perhaps not as much as my family does, but one can certainly hope so!

Thank you again Nayomi and Joe! We will be back again to visit soon....and again after that...

Nice condo but beware...

Let me start by saying the condo was in an excellent location. The views were spectacular just as shown in the pictures. It was obvious that the owners are continually upgrading. On our last day of the stay several boxes were delivered containing a chair and a new microwave. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the housekeeper. She told us to check in at the desk downstairs in the morning and to let them know we were personal friends of the owners (apparently one week rentals aren't allowed at The Ashley) we did not like the fact that we had to lie. The beds and the bathrooms were ok... the towels and linens need an upgrade. The kitchen was well stocked with all essentials. We really enjoyed the hot tub in the basement work out area too. I have rented from HomeAway on many occasions and this time I bought the optional insurance. BIG mistake! Unfortunately we did lose a set of keys and left a note stating how sorry we were and that we would pay for a replacement key. Much to my surprise, when I returned home to Michigan and opened my e mail I had a damage claim made by Joe Cooper. I had received no e mail from Joe. He was claiming close to 1400$ in damages. Sheets, a chair, keys, towels and 500$ to repair his toilets. I was shocked! When I contacted the insurance company and told them that our only damage was loss of keys they told me they would deny the claim on my behalf. They also encouraged me to use their services in the future. Overall we had a great week but I will never rent from this owner again. I will also think twice about the insurance. I want to also make it clear that other than the lost key everything on Mr Coopers insurance claim we're with issues that were not our fault.

Owner's Response: Annette: So much of your "review" is BS, I don't even know where to start. 1. First, let me start by asking how the sheets got bloody and vomit all over the bathroom? 2. Next, let me ask why the "bloody" sheets was hidden in the linen closet? 3. What the heck happened in that bathroom? All I have to say is: - We had to change out all the sheets, towels, clean out vomit from walls and furniture. My cleaning lady literally left me a voicemail saying "DO NOT rent to these people again". I think the shame is - folks show up - abuse the condo - and then get mad because unlike hotels... condos have to fix their damages. This is not a hotel! If you can't respect other people's property - you should only use hotels. Anyway, we have about 30 reviews between Tripadvisor and VRBO and your review sticks out like a sore thumb. I'm glad we didn't disappoint you on the view. Cheers, The Coopers

Beautiful Ocean View

This unit does have a beautiful view. The Ashley is quite close to the ocean so from the 16th floor you don't see much of the beach unless you go out on the balcony. But the beach is nice and it is an easy beach walk to the pier and restaurant. The unit is ready to be updated and had several minor maintenance and plumbing issues which were supposed to be fixed after we left. The bed in the master bedroom is 34" high and I had to climb up on a stool to get in bed. There were still some building issues, apparently from Hurricane Matthew too. The front door door to the building was not always working right and the club room was closed. There was only 1 parking space available in the garage, not 2. The owner did let us have the key to the unit early so we could put items in the refrigerator since we were checking in on Christmas Eve. We certainly appreciated that.

Great space, great location, needs a few updates

Great view, great location, great space! The condo felt clean and functioned great for our extended family stay...6 adults and 2 kids. However, the bedding, towels and mattresses need to be replaced. The mattresses were uncomfortable and the pillows were very flat. The pool was nice, the beach was clean and not crowded and the hot tub, although inside, was still nice to have. Overall, a great place to stay!
