Great location

The location is directly across the street from the Metro, which allows you to get almost anywhere fast.

The residence was really nice and everything, but the internet and cable, worked great. I agree with one of the previous reviews that mentioned the linens and mattresses. The towels had stains in them, the mattresses were not comfortable at all. Obviously the people who manage the house and the ones responsible for cleaning don't take the time to ensure the house is thoroughly cleaned up before the next family comes in. It's terrible to have a great place but don't put the effort into updating linens for people or keeping it clean which I'm sure lies in the mgmt company. This is really all that needs to be done. It still gets five stars because the it was well located and was a nice place.

Convenient Washington accommodation

We found this accommodation in an excellent position for getting around Washington with the subway just across the road. The 10 of us found the house quite adequate and cosy for the 2 nights we stayed and 4 bathrooms helped immensely. The property is situated in an excellent area for restaurants, other eateries and supermarket.

The downside was having to pay for parking if you have a vehicle with you. There was no access to the back porch and the garden. The linen provided was past its use by date for a commercially rented premises.

All this aside we would still recommend this property as an ideal stay for a short visit to Washington.

Our Family Trip to Washington DC

Our family of 7 adults and 1 10 year old had the best vacation yet! The townhouse had 4 bed rooms and 4 baths and TVs in each bedroom so everyone had plenty of space. The subway and bus stops were visible from the front steps and gave us quick access to all the sites we wanted to visit. The townhouse is completely furnished with every convenience to make it comfortable and relaxing. When we first started looking for a place to stay, the owners responded quickly and we were able to complete our transaction easily and safely. The manage responded immediately to give us access as we arrived late the first night. The whole area is a bustling neighborhood with shops, diverse cafes, and we all felt safe.

Exceptional Accomadations

I have visited DC many times throughout the years always booking a motel. This time, I decided to find a home to rent. What a find! The owner and manager made paying and checking in easy. The townhome was roomy and very clean. Full baths and TV's for all 4 bedrooms was too good to be true. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was great, and there were plenty of nice linens and towels etc. The street was bustling with activity, it is a great neighborhood and we felt very safe walking to the nearby Starbucks and restaurants. The nearby restaurants were all clean and the service was great. We parked our cars in a nearby lot and never drove them again until the day we left. The subway and Circulator bus took us everywhere we needed to go. Location Location Location and the vintage charm of this house and street cannot be matched. Sightseeing all day, riding the subway home, coming up the escalator and literally seeing your front door holding all the comforts of home--it doesn't get any better than that.

We would come back!

We stayed at this property for 5 days. The outstanding convenience to the museums, monuments, restaurants, etc cannot be overstated. The Metro is right out the door....easy to use. While the furniture is older, it is still functional. We stayed with 4 adults and 3 kids. With the 4 bedrooms & 4 bathrooms, there was ample privacy. The full kitchen was nice as there is a market just around the corner. Also around the corner are numerous great restaurants. We always felt safe in the are too. The owners were wonderful to work with providing exceptional customer service. The property manager was quick to respond to any questions and provided a piece of replacement furniture (kitchen chair) in less than 24 hours. We will stay here any time we go to Washington DC.

Two families on Spring Break!

After one full week of spring break fun in DC we are heading home. This house on 707 D exceeded all of our expectations. It truly is a 4-bedroom 4-bathroom town home. Location was AWESOME! Could not get a better location. The Eastern Market Metro stop is just feet from the front door. The neighborhood has all the dinning options you could ever want. Last night we ate at Match Box --awesome Pizza and salad. Highly recommend it. CVS and local organic grocery store very close. The town home has a fully equipped kitchen so we ate most of our meals at the house. We saved so much money going this route. We shared the home with another family we were traveling with (7 total people) never felt crowded. We all had our own bedrooms and bathrooms. This home was such a better option than a hotel money wise and convenience wise. We will stay here again in the future!
