The Lodge at Copper, located in Center Village (or New Village at Copper) is a TRUE ski-in/ski-out building and the mountain’s most sought after lodging address.

Put your “sticks” on at the building’s back door and ski down to the American Flyer Lift. At the end of the day or just for a cocoa break, cruise down Scooter Run to the same door. No lugging skis and boards across the village! Truly no-hassle skiing and riding!

This spacious two-bedroom, two-bath unit is approximately 1,350 square-feet and located on the second floor of The Lodge at Copper.

If cooking is your thing, the kitchen is stocked with all the appliances, cookware, plates, glasses and utensils you’ll need to whip up a feast fit for the high country!

Long day on the slopes? After dropping your boards and skis in the heated ski locker room, skip the cooking, and treat yourself to dinner in the village! Afterward, retire to the living room and screen a movie on a 42-inch flat-screen TV. If you brought some movies of your own, there is a DVD/VCR combo all set to cue them up. Whatever you choose to watch, make a fire in the real wood-burning fireplace to perfect the ambiance!

Maybe you’re achy from using those ski-and-ride muscles??? Grab a towel and head over to either The Lodge’s outdoor hot tub or one of three saunas located on floors 2-4.

When it’s time to turn in and recharge those batteries for tomorrow’s epic powder, both bedrooms have TVs, super-comfy mattresses, and fine linens. The master has a king bed and the amply sized second bedroom a queen. Got kids? Pop some corn and send them off to camp out on the bunk beds, or queen and twin sleeper sofas located in the far end of the living room.

If you want to be first-chair, hurry and shower up in one of two spacious “twin” bathrooms. No need to pack a hair dryer! You will find wall-mounted versions in both baths..

Linens and towels are provided for 4 people. Additional may be requested.

Been out of touch for a few (glorious) days and need to touch base with the outside world (or maybe you just want to FB or Twitter some fabulous photos to make your friends green with envy!)? We’ve got you covered either way with FREE, wireless Internet service.

If your base layers need freshening, our building’s new washing machine and dryer are located on the first floor and will spiff up those togs in short order!

Before you leave us, make sure to watch the snow fall or listen to the summertime babble of our beautiful stream from the balcony off the living room---no hot tub chatter on THIS side of the building to disturb the solitude!

Smoking Is Not Permitted In The Unit Or On Balcony At Any Time.

By now you surely have decided to come for a visit! As you pull up to the extensively renovated Lodge at Copper building, you can park your car in the heated garage located underneath the building. If friends come a calling, they can park their sleigh in your other parking spot, located on the stream-side of the building. An elevator makes easy work of getting your suitcases up to the second floor.

Skied yourself silly tired? Copper Coach Dial-A-Ride is a free transportation service to and from ALL areas of the Copper community and can be accessed by calling. The Copper Coach runs 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Please call 15 to 20 minutes prior to the desired pick-up time. Copper Coach runs 7 Days a Week (November 1st, 2013 - April 20th, 2014).

Perfect Loccation! Great condo!

We had a fabulous family vacation! The location of the condo could not have been better. The access to the main lift and the center village was super easy, just a minute or two walk. The set up of the condo is great with lots of space. The only reason I did not give this condo 5 stars is that the condo could use some updating. The beds were comfortable, but there was not a good pillow in the house. The kitchen could use some additional utensils as well. While there was a corkscrew (the most important utensil!) there was no pizza slicer and the knives were dull and flimsy. The icemaker works which is nice. The hot tub was a huge bonus! It was so nice to soak and watch the snow after a long day of skiing! We enjoyed our stay and would absolutely visit again!

Close and convenient to all things at Copper Mountain

The size if the condo was fine. However, this condo is in desperate need of some renovations. Everything is very worn and showing signs of needed repairs. I would not come back to this particular condo unless I know it has been repaired and updated.

Owner's Response: This condo is being renovated next month, May 2016. The rental rates charged were commensurate with a non-upgraded unit located in a TRUE ski in/ski out building. In other words, this unit rented for much less than any other upgraded 2/2 located in the same building. This guest did not report to me anything in need of "repair" and I'm not personally aware of anything, so I'm not sure how to address that comment.

Good choice for convenience

Very well located just across the parking lot from Center Village (restaurants, ski rental, etc). Very nice to have indoor parking underneath the building. Used shuttle service a lot to go to West Village - just call and they're there in 10 mins or so. Condo wasn't fancy but good amount of space and had what we needed. The washer/dryer is on the 1st floor of the building and requires quarters (no change machine). Really liked Copper Mountain - all staff were very friendly and helpful. *** One thing to note, we're from Florida so we were especially affected but the high altitude did cause us some problems. If we had it to do over again and were going to this high altitude area, we would spend 24 hrs in Denver before ascending and would get prescription for Dioxin ( I think that's the name) and start taking a few days before travelling. Someone also mentioned beet juice, which increases oxygen. High altitude causes headaches, and even nausea/vomiting if extreme. Can always go to the onsite clinic and get oxygen tank if needed. : )

Would recommend this place to anyone! Loved how close we were to the lift. The condo was very clean and met all of our needs. Sherri was awesome to work with and very accommodating. We will be staying there again

Great Location, but condo is not the best

Loved the ski in ski out feature of the condo, but had several problems with the condo during our stay. The single fold out bed was broken, the hot water pressure in the main bathroom was bad. The underground garage was too low for us to get our Ford Transit van into so it had to be parked outside the whole time. Also the Hot Tub was not working during our entire stay. The condo itself although dated was functional and worked well for the 7 of us staying there.

Owner's Response: Lack of water pressure— Guest reported this on Christmas Eve. I (miraculously) got a plumber to come out, even though there was no emergent problem (all were working emergency situations;first available appointment was 12/27).The plumber said the pressure did NOT feel abnormally low, but replacing the diverter valve might add pressure. After installation, there was definitely additional pressure. My guest was still unhappy.I spent personal money and most of the day attempting to satisfy my guest’s shower needs. The plumber achieved as much water pressure as was mechanically possible, but it still wasn’t enough. It would have been nice if the guest had at least acknowledged my effort. The “underground garage” was too low for Ford Transit van: A 2015 Ford Transit is 9.1 feet tall. For reference, the average SEMI is 13 feet tall, so guest's "van" was a little less tall than a SEMI. The garage is directly under the building, and like most (possibly all) others at Copper, will not accommodate a vehicle of this height. This guest was unhappy about having to park outside directly in front of the building—steps from the front door. Hot tub not functional: The hot tub furnace heat exchanger malfunctioned. It took a week to get the part here (this is a small mountain community—it’s very common to wait for “part shipping” when anything breaks). After the part was installed, the furnace would not stay lit, so a new thermo-coupler was installed. Mechanical problems unfortunately do not occur on an ideal timetable. I did give our guest the building manager’s phone number so he could periodically check repair status. The hot tub has been down one other time in the past 8 years, but I understand this is irrelevant to a guest who can’t use it during his visit. Twin fold-out bed broken: I was unaware of this issue, but the repairman has ordered the part and it is scheduled for repair next week. I am now pulling out all sofa sleepers to check for functionality during EVERY pre-checkin inspection. The young man using the bed told me he propped pillows under the foot end to compensate for the broken connection and was indeed comfortable. Unit outdated: The online photos accurately reflect this unit has not been updated and it is priced accordingly compared to other identical, updated units. This guest did not ask for monetary remuneration, but I offered a considerable discount on his next rental and thanked him profusely for his understanding.
