Located at Sanibel Island’s Sundial Resort #G-206, this beach front property is clearly a desirable vacation paradise! This second floor, one bedroom unit (separated by a wall) offers full kitchen, 2 flat screen TV's, Blu-ray dvd, stereo and laundry. Newly updated in August 2016, the owner has also added brand new furniture and decorator touches. Laundy facilities are located just steps away from the condo. Property amenities include beach access, pool, BBQ grill, elevator and high-speed wireless internet access. This condo can accommodate up to 4 people. Beach chairs, umbrella and towels are also in the condo for your relaxation on the beach.

Sanibel and Captiva Islands are world renowned for their beautiful shelling beaches (ranked 3rd in the world after Australia and The Figi's). Besides it's breathtaking tropical feel, the islands are very unusual since you won't find a traffic light or any building over three stories. They have kept the islands the way nature intended with over 2/3 of the island dedicated as a wildlife sanctuary. Sanibel is also known for its wonderful bike paths, everywhere on the island are trails for hiking or biking. Wildlife is in abundance here and some of the most fabulous birding is found on this island. You can find boating and sailing and fishing anywhere on the island. If you like kayaking or canoeing, this is the place for you. Restaurants abound, some of the finest cuisine in Southwest Florida can be tasted on these barrier islands. We have quaint shopping, golf, movie theater, fitness center and tennis courts, we have it all on this spectacular tropical island.
We recently returned from 7 nights on Sanibel Island; although we're regular visitors, this was our first time staying at the Sundial.
Sundial condo was centrally located and close to restaurants, shopping and church.
Although the indoor and lanai furniture was a bit tired and not very comfortable, the condo was very well-maintained and spotless. The unit's kitchen was well-stocked right down to a cork screw, towels and pots/pans. Beach chairs (again a bit worn), umbrella and other beach equipment were provided. Free wi-fi was provided - router needed to be rebooted a few times during the week but was appreciated.
The unit is a very short walk to the beach and pool. And, as mentioned in another post, the fountain located in the courtyard the unit looked onto was soothing. The Sundial grounds were pristine - not a blade of grass or a palm tree not perfectly groomed. Pool was a bit small and crowded but it appeared some of the guests from the resort had come over from next door to use the condo's pool...but very clean and immaculate pool and deck area.
Lastly, Katie at Lighthouse Realty was a pleasure to deal with - rental process was very simple and professionally handled - and we were thrilled to have the option to rent Wednesday-to-Wednesday...most on the island are Saturday-to-Saturday.
I wouldn't think twice about renting at Sundial again and/or working with the folks at Lighthouse...

This was a great unit to stay in. The owner has done a great Job updating the place and it is well looked after. It was clean and had everything you need. The deck is huge with a great view. A few steps away from miles of beach. A really nice pool. The owner has beach chairs and stuff in the screened in porch. Great stay. Would stay here again.
My wife and I have been to Sundial a half dozen times and this condo is similar to the others. Most units lease thru royal shell (never a problem) this condo leased thru Lighthouse Realty and they're not professional in the least. Their method of picking up an after hours rental packet is a community lockbox. I picked mine up from the box and by mistake they put 2 different property keys in the packet. I used the correct key to enter but took the wrong key with me to p/u groceries. When I returned to the condo unit I called the Lighthouse emergency number but no answer so I left a msg. No indication if I would receive a return call on a holiday weekend I called a locksmith and for $90 he let me in. Long story short, Lighthouse accused me of not only taking my packet but also reaching into the lockbox and taking another key. zero customer service and no accountability for their mistake. I'm out the $90, some spoiled groceries, and the aggravation of dealing with this. I will never lease a property thru Lighthouse Realty again!
My wife and I spent a week at this property and absolutely loved every minute of it. The condo was so clean and beautiful and we'll kept. Everything we could have ever needed was available for us to use. We have told all of our friends and family about Lighthouse Reality and how wonderful they treated us. We will make plans to vacation there every year and will be contacting Lighthouse Reality every time. Thank you Lighthouse Reality for the most amazing vacation .
It was a pleasure, from the beginning to the end of our stay.
The key pickup was easy, the apartment was conveniently close to where we parked our car in the parking lot and of-course the complex was right on the beach.
We didn't use the pool, but there is pool, pool side bar and restaurants right in the complex.
The apartment is ready with beach chairs, beach umbrella in addition to clean and comfortable bed sheets and blankets. More than you would need.
Kitchen is also stocked with all you need to cook, eat and drink.
There are towels in the bath room, but again we had our own towels, but clean and ready if we needed them.
All in all, thank you for a great vacation.
