Wolfeboro Waterfront On Quiet, Pristine Rust Pond

The 4-bedroom lakehouse is on the water and features a large dock, small private sandy beach and 2 decks for lounging. Rust Pond offers great fishing, water activities and old-fashioned relaxation. Enjoy the use of paddle boards, canoe and kayak, along with cable tv, wifi and a Weber gas grill. Sorry, no pets or smoking. Perfect, relaxing family vacation on beautiful Rust Pond!

  • 5 of 5

This is the second year our family has returned to this beautiful lake house property. We had a great time and couldn't have asked for a more relaxing and fun week! The house offers plenty of space with 4 bedrooms and a full walkout rec room. The pond is beautiful, clean and refreshing! We spent a lot of time fishing from the dock and the rowboat, taking daily canoe rides, and venturing out in the kayak. There are also two paddle boards and plenty of floatation noodles/boards available.

We enjoyed the numerous areas to sit outside reading, having morning coffee, listening to the Loons, etc. My favorite area is the lower patio which is very close to the water and equipped with plenty of reclining deck chairs. My daughter did her daily yoga on this deck!

There is also plenty to do in the surrounding towns. Downtown Wolfeboro is close by and offers numerous shops, restaurants, and ferry rides on beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee! We also had a great day at Castle in the Clouds which is about 20 minutes away. There we toured the castle, had lunch at the Carriage House with panaramic views of Lake Wini, went horseback riding and hiking to the Falls! This is a must do day trip!

In summary, this lake house has become our favorite family vacation destination and we look forward to returning again and again!

Last, but not least, the owner, Lisa is very friendly, helpful and responsive! Thank you, Lisa, for another great week at Rust Pond!

Beautiful and Peaceful!

  • 5 of 5

While we would also like to keep this hidden gem a secret, a nice review is much deserved!

Upon our arrival, we were pleasantly surprised and impressed! The home is very nice, with a feeling of positive energy and family love! There is plenty of space, with three floors and four bedrooms. The downstairs TV room is much larger than it appears in the photos and provides a great space for the family to watch TV together, etc. The kitchen is equipped with pretty much everything you need. The two decks are wonderful for sitting outside- viewing the lake, the sunset and the most beautiful blanket of stars we have ever seen! The lower patio by the water has numerous, comfortable, reclining lounge chairs. We spent much time there reading, sunbathing and enjoying the gorgeous trees and flowers surrounding us. The lake was warm and clean. When we weren't swimming out to the dock or floating around on the water toys/noodles provided, we were enjoying the 2 paddle boards and the row boat! There is also a kayak and canoe available for use. Our seven year old really enjoyed the small beach and fishing off the dock. She caught the first fish of the week out on the row boat! The fire pit is portable and easy to use. The family gathered around nightly for S'mores and fun! Downtown Wolfeboro is close by and offers all you need for groceries, restaurants, sightseeing, Lake W. cruises, and shops. I could go on and on, but will sum up by saying this is a perfect place to enjoy a family vacation and make special memories. We loved everything about it and are looking forward to returning again and again! A special thank you to the owner, Lisa, for renting to us and being so friendly and responsive!

Amazing experience!

  • 5 of 5

While we'd like to keep this beautiful home our secret, we were so inspired that we had to write a nice review! We had an excellent stay which we will never forget! The house is very nice, with 3 floors and plenty of space, and the property is great, with flat, open areas, and plenty of gorgeous, mature trees. There are several very comfortable lounge chairs which recline, making for a fantastic sun-basking experience. There is also a small sandy beach. The fire pit was perfect for nighttime S'mores-making and story-telling. We had use of 2 paddle boards, a canoe, kayak, and a row boat, and really made the most of them. There is a sizable dock, with a second small floating dock on the lake, which the kids loved, as this was their diving platform. And, of course, Rust Pond is beautiful! We plan to return to this home several times!
