We absolutely loved our time over Christmas in this condo! The complex is low-key, small and a bit old-fashioned and that's what gave it its charm! The unit itself was perfect for our family of four and we loved having the front and back large windows open allowing the ocean breeze and sounds to waft through every night. The pool, yard and grills were very nice and well-maintained. Although the unit did not have a washer and dryer, the facilities by the office were a short walk and bright and clean. The coastline is rocky but was a sunbathing and surfing spot for the sea turtles. Every day when we returned, we would walk a few steps up the coastal path to see up to 15 turtles hanging out. There is a small beach about a block away but it's more for the surfers and paddle-boarders rather than sunbathers. The location, however is a short drive to lovely beaches at Napili and Kaanapali. We especially liked the Kaanapali beach across from a park and parking lot that allowed for great shoreline snorkeling. The location was also great for dining out and shopping in Lahaina and Kaanapali. There's a nice grocery store 5 or so minutes up the road. Exploring on the eastern side of the island requires some driving but but that's the price of exploring! We would definitely recommend this complex and unit to others and hope to return some day!
