As I live just one (1) mile from this fabulous resort, I'm here to assist you in anything you might ever need throughout your stay while visiting our beautiful island paradise.

Why Jill Marie Marzo chose West Maui

My wife (Liliana) and I fell in love with this property the moment we set foot on it in March (2013). We weren't even planning on buying a unit here, but after further consideration, we decided that we could exchange our San Diego investment property for one out here on this gorgeous island, allowing ourselves a 'reason' to visit Maui on a regular basis! We have visited Maui numerous times before, but previously we had stayed mostly in the Wailea area. When our local friend recommended we stay at Honua Kai, we took his advice, and as they say ... the rest is history!

Honua Kai is the first whole ownership development built on Ka'anapali Beach in more than 25 years. From its opening in 2009, Honua Kai has become the latest and finest resort and residential property in West Maui.

We're so happy and privileged to be a small part of this amazing development ... and we hope you will have an opportunity to share in this experience in staying with us ... mahalo!

Great Property

Stove is induction and only 1 of the pans worked for that stove. Really only complaint of entire trip, the property is great and the room is centrally located.

Amazing unit! Will definitely return

My husband and I were able to get a great deal since our trip was last minute and between bookings. Jill got back to me immediately after my initial inquiry and she was receptive to all my questions. Although there were only 2 of us, it is an ideal unit for a family since there is also a den. The unit is very clean but just bring your own shampoo (body wash was included). I initially wanted to book a unit that faced north but the south facing unit (faces the "garden") worked out better since you're not looking directly into other units and it is very quiet and private. The partial view is wonderful and you get sun for most of the day. We will definitely return!

Great location, amenities, and clean!

From the start to the end the team was helpful throughout our process. The team was very responsive with my questions and were always available if I had any questions on-site.

The room was clean and ready when we arrived.

Would stay here again. Great for a small young family with the nook.

Great Week at the Honua Kai

We had a great week staying in Maui at the Honua Kai. Jill and her staff we excellent to work with and answered all our questions - extremely professional. We will definitely work with her team again on our next vacation. The unit was as advertised...very well maintained and comfortable. We really appreciated the extra amenities...beach chairs, bag, snorkels and beach umbrella. If you are looking for a great resort, the Honua Kai is the place to stay.

Wonderful K508

This was a wonderful, fifth floor unit with plenty of space. Jill was fabulous to work with and close by if needed. The unit has beach chairs, boogie boards, kids sand toys...pretty much everything you need. The sun shines on this unit's lanai all day and you have views of the ocean and the morning sunrise. Just lovely. Do not hesitate to book this unit.

The Honua Kai Resort has plenty of pools and beach access. The grounds are lovely. There is plenty of space to throw a frisbee or just run around. You can find space if you want quiet or be in the action.

Lived up to its promise!

We spent a great week in Maui at Honua Kai. Unit 508 met all of our needs and made for a comfortable stay. The grounds of the resort were very nice and our small children had a blast in the pools and on the water slide - it made for an easy alternative when you were beached-out. The beach gear in the unit such as the chairs, beach bag, cooler, snorkeling gear and kids' toys made for great convenience. The den is a great alternative to having a two bedroom especially for kids sleeping on the pull out couches. This was our first VRBO experience, and Jill clearly takes pride in being a great host - very organized and available if you need something. Overall, our experience lived up to the high expectations set by the other reviewers.
