Perfectly cozy and amazing location!
We had a wonderful stay at the carriage house. We are a family of 4 and it was perfect for all of us. The beds were super comfortable and my girls enjoyed their sleeping nook and slept like champs. The dock was also a huge hit with lots of fishing taking place. Bikes were great and made for some great exploring. We drank coffee every morning on the porch and even set up one of our girls hammocks/enos on it. They loved it. The proximity to downtown is perfect and made walking to everything possible. Bathroom is a little small but we managed. We loved St Augustine and would definitely stay here again!
Would stay here again
A great apartment with a great location (a quiet and beautiful street that is only a few minutes walk into town) Highly recommend!
Perfect clean/cozy/comfy & great location!
Perfect set up for two of us - living room, kitchen very well equipped, big bedroom with king bed (very comfortable) and bathroom while small was somewhat updated with pedestal sink and was just fine. Lots of fluffy towels, hair dryer, extra tp, soap, shampoo - nice touches.
An easy walk into town - 5 minutes
On a quiet street - not noisy at all - and water with available kayaking right there. (It was too cold for us to enjoy the bikes/kayaks but nice that they are available)
Our favorite restaurants:
#1: Collage (!!!)
#2: The Preserved
We loved having space to spread out and also linger over coffee and our home cooked breakfasts!
Highly recommend and would return!
Location and amenities contributed to wonderful stay!
The carriage house was perfect for our visit to St. Augustine. We rarely used our car, using instead the provided bicycles for easy sightseeing trips around the old town area. Sandy, the property manager, was very helpful in answering questions and making sure our stay was perfect! Kudos to her!! Quiet neighborhood and very comfortable king-size bed made for a relaxing stay! Will definitely stay here again!
It was everything we had hoped and in the perfect location! We will return!
Everything about this property was easy! We really enjoyed the porch, and the canon fire alarm clock, bed was comfy and the ac worked maybe too well, ha! Kitchen was well stocked with pans and utensils and we cooked at home every night! Used the grill on the last night and could only get one side going but it worked well anyway! We were especially enchanted by the location and loved being able to wander to the fort and down town from the neighborhood!
Old property but very cozy and everything worked good
Very nice cottage, very quiet street and close to everything in walking distance
St. Augustine’s rich heritage makes the city and its surroundings a unique getaway for visitors. Founded in September 1565 by Don Pedro Menendez de Aviles of Spain, St. Augustine is the oldest continually inhabited European-founded city in the United States – more commonly called the 'Nation’s Oldest City.' Visit St. Augustine and dive into more than four centuries of history that owes much to the Spanish and English, to Greeks and Native Americans and African Americans. Stroll the narrow lanes, enter the many museums, visit landmarks such as Castillo de San Marcos, Ponce de Leon's 'Fountain of Youth,' and the Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse. As the nation's oldest port, there's also plenty to do in and around the water, with a plethora of boating activities and resources and some of the state's most accessible beaches. St. Augustine – a place for history buffs and everyone else.
