We loved the stay!

Condo was well equipped with all necesseties. Bus leaves every 15 minutes and was a quick drop to the base. Pool, hot tub and sauna we're great. Free wood for fireplace was nice. Condo was outdated but functional.

Four of us stayed at this condo from February 22-27, 2017 for a ski trip. It is a great value and very spacious for the price. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom. The beds were all very comfortable and there were plenty of bath towels/washcloths/hand towels available. The kitchen had a microwave, dishwasher, oven, stove, fridge and everything we needed to make food but we ate in town most evenings (consider Secret Stash, Donitas Cantina, Brick Oven Pizzeria). The condo was quiet. I was never woken up and never heard anyone walking around in ski boots in the hallways or on other levels. We arrived after 10:00 pm on a Wednesday night but the restaurants stop serving around 9 pm in town so we had an EXTREMELY difficult time finding something to eat. The condo has a large screen modern smart television but we did not use it much.

The shuttle to the village/slopes is right outside the front door of the building. You can watch it go by every 20 minutes from the living room and then time getting your gear on so you can be out there just in time. I walked a couple of times from the condo to the lifts in ski boots carrying skis and it is do-able but unwise as the shuttle is timely and we were only on it for about 5 minutes at a time so it makes sense to just take the shuttle with your gear.

The community hot tub we never used but it was within easy walking distance of condo and next to a bus stop. The fireplace was extremely convenient to use. We used it two out of five nights. The freshly split clean, dry wood is indoors on the lower level right where you walk into the building and there is a bucket you can use to bring up as much as you need and then return the bucket downstairs. There was no kindling but there were these pine-sap sticks in the condo that worked well to get the split wood going.

Shay sent us perfect directions to the place and instructions for entering the unit as well as for when we checked out of the unit. The condo had everything we needed and we never had to call Shay for anything. Often times there was a maintenance person shoveling the walks or could be seen restocking the firewood so you could ask if you needed something.

Great value and would stay here again.

Very comfortable condo with great location

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed for 6 nights in July at this condo with my family of 5. More than enough room for everyone - kids loved the bunk beds and the extra beds were helpful for when my sister and her kids came to visit. Shuttle picks up right outside the entrance to the condo so trips to town are a breeze. 5 min walk to the ski lift area where they have numerous activities as well as lifts that can take you up the mountain. Very clean and well-managed condo. Only complaint would be the parking as it was frequently full during the July 4th weekend, but no problem at all after that.

Pool and hot tub are just a short walk down the hill and a godsend after a long day's hike. Washer and dryer available down the hall. Beautiful views of Mt Crested Butte available from the property.

Management is excellent at this property, especially Shay. Airline lost our luggage on the flight in and Shay helped communicate with the courier service multiple times so he could find us and deliver the next morning. Also helped again later in trip when I locked myself out of the condo. Very professional and courteous.

Overall, highly recommend property, especially to families with kids who can use the bunk beds. Beautiful city and can't wait to return
