This corner unit is located at Sanibel Arms (unit A5) with gulf access canal and less than 200 steps from the beach. This unit comes with free boat dockage. There are picnic tables, lounge chairs, fish cleaning stations, and a BBQ grill in our back yard. Unit A5 is one of the largest in the complex and perfect for cost conscious vacationers who want to stay for at least 7 days near the beach.
Sanibel Arms is family-friendly with meticulously maintained grounds consisting of 64 units in eight buildings. It's conveniently located on the east-end of the Island less than a mile away from the causeway. Shopping, dining, and the historic Sanibel Lighthouse are 5 minutes away. Guests have full access to a heated swimming pool, a private white sand beach, and a clubhouse where computers, and internet connections are available 24 hours a day. Wireless internet is also available in each unit. Starting on June 2015, guest will have private high speed wireless internet (20 mbps) and free unlimited national long distance calls in this unit. Each unit gets a private parking spot. Features include new cabinetry, granite countertops, ceramic tiled floors, carpeting in each of the bedrooms, and an enclosed lanai to assure your dining or lounging comfortably on cool, breezy nights.
To make your stay is as enjoyable as possible, furnishings include a 40' wall-mounted high definition TV and queen-size sleeper sofa in the great room; king-size bed in the master bedroom with a large closet and a 32' flat screen TV; one twin-size bed and one queen-size bed in the guest bedroom, also with a 32' TV. This unit includes boogie boards, beach chairs, shelling bag and beach toys for children.
Bikes can be rented on site for you to unwind with 22 miles of riding paths on the island. Paths also go through the wildlife preserves to provide an opportunity to observe the wildlife and vegetation. Each unit is individually owned and managed by an onsite management company.
