About Ramah Vendana, Property manager

We live in San Francisco but wanted a beautiful Sonoma retreat to share 'country life' with our two young sons. We enjoy wine, and Glen Ellen felt like the perfect location away from it all, yet so close to some of of our favorite tasting rooms, great weather, and beautiful scenery.

Ramah Vendana, Property manager purchased this house in 2013

Why Ramah Vendana, Property manager chose Sonoma County

This charming home with its beautiful property and view of the mountains spoke to us the moment we saw it. Both of us having grown up in the country, we really wanted a place where our sons could enjoy the outdoors, play hide and seek, and cool off under the shade of a big oak tree. Your Sonoma House was a perfect fit, especially after we completed a massive renovation project on the home and landscaping,

What makes this house unique

This home is in the heart of Glen Ellen, but feels very secluded and private. We have a creek on the property with a footbridge that leads to amazing hiking trails, connecting you to Jack London Park.

First class accomodations

  • 5 of 5

Everything at this Glen Ellen property is first class. The new pool and spa area is beautiful, very secluded and very comfortable with lounges and shading. The pool was 84 degrees without heating in early September. The spa can be heated via a remote control from inside the house and takes less than 1/2 hour to get to 103 degrees. Everything is well documented and organized. The beds were very comfortable. Again first class all the way. The communication prior and during the stay was very helpful. A gated driveway adds to the privacy. Note at the top of the driveway as you approach the house you can go left or right. We found the right side gravel a little loose as far as traction so go to the left and you will have no problems. The nearby Glen Ellen grocery store has great sandwiches should you arrive late and need dinner. You can set the code on the front door to your own combo so easier to access. We shall return.

Beautiful, secluded, relaxing.....Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

We were planning our 50th birthdays. My husband and I and our four dearest friends

were all turning 50 and we wanted the perfect place to celebrate together. After

much debate we decided on Sonoma and proceeded to look for the perfect house.

We found it!!

This house had everything. We were there for an entire week and I felt like I was not able

to do everything that I wanted to do. The pool area was our main hangout, no one wanted to leave.

We were in Sonoma and had bucket lists of everything that we wanted to do, but we did not want

to leave our beautiful house.

The house was very comfortable. We were able to walk the Jack London, swim, bocce, hot tub, cook, basketball etc. We loved Glen Ellen. We walked in to town and had drinks at the Jack London Saloon and dinner at the Glen Ellen Star, which was an amazing restaurant. The girl & the fig for Sunday brunch and the little hotel for lunch. I could spend a week & never leave Glen Ellen.

We want to go back!! We miss the quails and the stars. I cannot recommend this house enough. I know we will return!!!!

Great outdoor space and nice activities on site, indoor could use a little updating.

  • 4 of 5

Overall, we had a wonderful time at the house. The location is wonderful and the outdoor space is expansive with lots of things to do with a family (sport court, pool, bocce, hiking, digging in rocks, tire swing, fire pit, BBQ). The attached outdoor eating porch was perfect for us and the childproof pool cover gave us a lot of peace of mind with young children. We heated the pool and while it definitely made it warmer, I found that if it was cold enough to need heating then you would probably just use the hot tub instead of the pool. We did attempt a hike but although the house is a mile from Jack London and there are hiking trails, we found the hike route is actually almost 3 miles so if you plan to hike, perhaps take the road or prepare accordingly. Inside, there was plenty of space for our family of 4 and the furnishings are nice. The kitchen and baths could use updating and quite a few bugs find their way in (crane flies, mosquitoes, ants) so possibly some additional door screens or cleaning by the staff (there was a few dead bugs in the freezer, on windowsills, etc when we arrived) would help. The house manager was very responsive and accommodating.

This house exceeded our expectations. Beautifully decorated with a combination of modern chic and country elegance. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen well appointed. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and gorgeous gas fire pit. Very clear directions for checking in and out. A very close drive to a nearby market and other great restaurants. We will definitely rent this house again!!

Breathtaking views in a serene private setting - stunning home!

  • 5 of 5

I stayed at this home the first weekend in October with four college friends for our annual reunion. We flew in from all parts of the country and each one of us was beyond impressed when we arrived at the property. Stunning views, lovely home, garden in back with delicious tomatoes and the pool area was AMAZING. We used very nook and cranny of this tastefully decorated home to just relax...the screened in patio for meals, the living room in the evenings, the pool area daily and the fire bowl for wine time. We loved the local hiking and enjoyed a wonderful dinner in town at the Glen Ellen Star. Highly recommend this home for family gatherings or a weekend away with friends. I am a VRBO owner myself, so I have high standards. This host far exceeded those standards and then some!
