Bedroom plus living room with convertible sofa bed
I am originally from Switzerland and live in the South of France. A few years ago I have purchased this Paris apartment. It gives me a wonderful opportunity to go to Paris from time to time, to immerge in the magnificent offer of Paris'cultural events, to feel completely at home in this 'last village in the big city of Paris', to stroll around it's trendy boutiques, to discover its many secret paths, to visit a little theater around the corner from the apartment, or the little cinema a few steps down the road, to have my coffee on the terrasse of the famous bakery near the Abbesses métro station, and so many many things more. It is with great pleasure that I rent this apartment during the periods is it free and thus to be able to let others enjoy the unique experience of discovering Montmartre and to feel at home there.

Everything as advertised. Comfy apartments with two separate rooms. Even during heat wave with windows and shutters closed and the fan it’s ok. At cross ventilation at night. Great area. Angela very responsive. Go for it!
Comfortable apartment, close to everything including good metro service. Well -furnished and everything in good working order. You do have to climb 4 flights of stairs.
A Good Place to Stay
The Abbesses/Rue Lepic area of Montmartre is excellent, good metro access (I prefer Lamarck station as Abbesses elevator wasn't working and 140 stairs is a lot) and not too touristy. The apartment was excellent, except the fold-out couch wasn't good (but I slept on the couch itself and it was fine) and it is four flights up from the street, and the nearby bar goes loudly until late (which I didn't mind). Overall it was a good experience and we were treated very well. I wish there was an oven, but that's minor as the kitchen was adequate. Small place, but two rooms gives privacy. No real view, but lots of windows, a sense of being in the city, and good breezes. Three good subway stations (Abbesses, Blanche, Lamarck), all pretty close. The Caulincourt area nearby is good for food (cheaper restaurants and some grocery stores). I would recommend this apartment.
Wonderful Stay in Paris
Wonderful stay in Montmartre, Paris. Lovely apartment and very close to all the attractions. Montmartre is a must see with all it's night life, shops, restaurants, street artists and art galleries. We will be back.
*Note: I would recommend going to the Blanche Metro Station when coming in with luggage. The Abbesses station is the deepest Metro Station in Paris and it is EXTREMELY hard to get up the multiple flights of stairs with luggage. I would also recommend possibly an Uber from the main train station to avoid overpriced taxis.
This is a lovely little apartment and was perfect for me and my daughter for our long weekend in Paris. The location is great - quiet street but really close to lots of cafes, restaurants and shops. And really great access to the Metro for travelling around Paris. Both Angela and Ileana were very helpful and made the whole rental process easy and straightforward.
Hope we get chance to stay at the apartment again!!
everything was perfect organized, so that we could start to explore paris at once
Montmartre, primarily known for the white-domed Basilica of the Sacré Coeur on its summit, is nowadays the last village in the big city of Paris. It keeps a subtle and unique atmosphere in spite of the affluence of tourists from all over the world. It offers endless walks and many secret paths to discover it's famous monuments as well as it's hidden gardens and vineyards. Many famous artists like Picasso, Monet, Van Gogh, Toulouse Lautrec lived and worked in Montmartre. Montmartre is also the setting for several hit films, the latest being Amélie Poulain. Today it is buzzing with trendy boutiques, art galleries, famous French bistros and night clubs. The apartment is minutes away from the Metro stations Abbesses and Blanche, a few steps from the stairs that lead to Sacré Coeur as well as the famous animated Rue Lepic. All photos published on the site are at walking distance from the apartment.
