Our 1 bedroom apartment was originally built in the lower floor of our 5 story tower to accomodate extra guests if ever needed. Once we finished remodeling it, we fell in love with this space and realized it could work out as an independent apartment or a guest house rather than just 'extra rooms', so we decided to go out on a limb again and created a space that is unique and autonomus. It actually resembles a private hotel suite. Although we have invited guests over since we finished the apartment, the problem now is we barely get to see just install themselves and don't want to come out of there anymore!!!!
As mentioned before, our tower is in a gated community, and has all that you may require to spend a week, a month or your full winter season.
It is nicely located behind the El Tesoro Hotel. There is a cab station or you may ride the bus into town. They are both at the entrance of the complex. 24 hour security is provided and for your information, the Santiago Peninsula is considered a safe area to live in. *As in every country or city in the world however and for your own safety, we ask that you handle yourself wisely and keep clear of obvious dangers.
The apartment is equipped with air conditioning, a full bathroom, a private balcony, a kitchenette with a medium sized refrigerator, filtered water, sink, appliances, a microwave, a small oven, a portable stove top, crockery, utensils, towels, bed linen and a practical closet with a number coded safe deposit box. There is WIFI service available at no extra cost and the Television set's programming is acquired via Internet through ROKU. You literally have access to thousands of channels and if you are not familiar with the system, it is quite easy to use and get hooked on (and off the grid when you go back home) did!!!
The apartment has a completely independent entrance. There is a street below, so you can come and go at leisure.
There are stairs from the street that lead you up to the apartment entrance, but the apartment itself is all in one level. If you were to have a car, you are entitled to use a parking space in the general parking area at the entrance and its a short walk from there. In most cases however, the assigned spots are not used throughout most of the year and can be 'loaned' with permission of the manager.
You get a key to the swimming pool and we do ask that you bring along beach towels, since those are not provided. We do include however, a cleaning service twice a week. This basically covers the thorough cleaning of the apartment, washing of towels, cleaning of bathroom and change of bed linens once a week. It does not include dish or utensil washing.
In order to always keep our apartment flawless and spotless for you and everybody to enjoy, we have a very strict 'NO PETS-NO SMOKING' policy. Absolutely No smoking-or pets are allowed in the apartment or even on the premisses.
This cozy little space was originally conceptualized for a single person, a couple and at the most, a couple with 1 small child. We would always want to keep it this way for your own benefit.

It has a small closet area where you can hang things and space to put clothing in; a Television fed via Internet and a Safe deposit Box. - The bathroom features an all glass sink, toilette and a glass enclosed shower stall with a shower head and a shower phone extension. It also has a built in Body spray panel. The bathroom includes the essentials: 2 hand towels, 2 face towels and 2 standard Bath towels which we ask you keep in the apartment at all times. Our cozy little rental apartment is located inside a gated community. It is at the bottom floor of a 5 story tower which also belongs to us. It has a private entrance and we have access to a shared swimming pool. It is actually like being in your own private hotel suite. We are close to the Las Hadas Marina where you can wine and dine and as a plus, Manzanillo has a full array of restaurants for all sorts of tastes and budgets. In general, it is a very laid back, calm area. Manzanillo is Not hot on spring breaker's lists, which in itself, is a plus if you plan to chill out and relax, although Manzanillo does have a lot to offer. There are 4 major supermarket chains (COMERCIAL MEXICANA, SORIANA, WALMART, SAM'S CLUB) as well as a large number of small convenience stores. Food on the beach is great and the selection of restaurants in and out of town will let you thrive on local and international cuisine.

About the owner: My wife, daughter and myself are world travelers. We found out about VRBO through our multiple travels and decided to put our property up after having experienced VRBO on the other side (as users). We have had nothing but great stories to tell from every place we have gone to and every rental we have made. Mostly, have been privilidged to have met some of the greatest people out there! Our home base is Guadalajara, where our daughter attends school. My wife and I both work. She owns a Spa and Post-Op clinic and I am the CEO of a Cattle Feed operation and manage a small Agave plantation, as well. Why the Owner Chose Las Hadas, Manzanillo, Col., Mexico:
My wife and I both love the beach. We have travelled all over to catch a wave or two and living in Guadalajara, a small ways from the ocean, we had only 2 logical options available to us farely close by; Puerto Vallarta or Manzanillo. Knowing we wanted to one day live full time in the ocean, there was an honest question that needed to be answered: Do we want a busy and trendy beach city where yes, we will go out, dine-out, play-out and probably never see each other or our daughter until it is time to go back home, (be it night clubbing or off and away with friends) option 2: A more laid back, traditional, family oriented environment where we could spend precious time together. Eyes closed, we came to the conclusion that family and leisure time were above anything else for us. We arrived at our property by fluke. I spent months negotiating and when all was said and done, almost 2 and a half years went into refurbishing, remodeling and At the end, we have what we wanted. We can call it can call it home. Proximity to the main city and the excellent highway access was prioritary to us as far as decisive points are concerned. This in itself gives us the opportunity of enjoying our property as much and as often as we want to but more importantly, lets us keep a closer grip on things so that they may run smoothly for us and for you, our guests. Manzanillo has its own special kind of magic. It is very unique and trendy in its own ways. The people are great and the weather is to mention the food, the golf, the fishing, the culture and everything else that comes with it! We love it and hope you can get the feel for it too! When I first saw this property I saw the potential in it, but also was aware of the fact that I had a major challenge in front of me. It had lived a life of its own and needed lots of TLC. I mean lots! I first tore into its guts and realized it was aching for a full make up. I re-designed it, changed the layout, took away, added, did it over again (and then some more) after 2 and a half years and God knows how many check what we set out to accomplish in the first yes, I would do it all over again...
