We welcome you to 502 S, our top floor deluxe beach front condo in Tres Regalos. Upon arrival, the gate guard will register you and direct you to the planted parking area. Walking past the salt water pool, you will find yourself just steps to the ocean, at the northern most end of Jaco Beach. The condo grouping has only thirty units, so the feeling is intimate. After an elevator ride to the fifth floor, you will see captivating views.
The friendly staff are available to assist you with transportation arrangements, independent sightseeing directions, and the full list of activity tours described in THE 502 BOOK. Inside the condo, you will find two full sized well appointed bedrooms with King sized beds, and two baths. Marble and glass showers, full vanities. You will find a fully equipped kitchen; stainless dishwasher, stove, side by side refrigerator with ice dispenser, microwave, blender, and coffee maker. Meals can be taken sitting on bar chairs at the black granite counter or sitting in tropical wood chairs at the balcony table. You may prefer eating on the balcony, as it has a great view of the beach as well as the jungle clad mountains and a small river. There is always something or someone to see, as joggers, surfers and fishermen come down to the end of the beach and return.
TRES REGALOS is next door to Crocs Resort and Casino. If you need to try your luck while having a cocktail, just walk out on the sand, turn left, and enter their beach entrance.
Turning to the right and crossing the river at low tide will take you to Monkey Beach, where natural jungle growth comes down to a small beach cove.
Jaco is a very safe, clean and fun beach town. Main street, with its many shops and restaurants, is a fifteen minute walk or a cheap taxi ride away. Maybe walk to town on the beach, stop for a beer, dine and return by taxi. You can dine in luxury at Italian, Asian or Continental restaurants at Los Suenos, or try the many fine restaurants in the main part of Jaco. They are all listed in The 502 Book. My favorites are Grafitti, Tsunami Sushi, and Wishbone.
Quiet central air conditioning keeps the inside comfortable for your return from walks, and makes sleeping a dream. The flat screen TVs are hooked up to cable. Bring your memory stick or CDs for the stereo. Computer users will enjoy the wireless internet connection, which reaches to every room. You will find a safe for your valuables. By planning to make use of the washer and dryer, you can pack fewer clothes.
The jacuzzi and pool were built with Coralina Stone, giving them a natural look. By using salt water filtration, chlorine is avoided, and your skin will feel GOOD. The pool area offers plenty of shade as well as sun.
Fresh vegetables and fruit are found at local markets or the nearby high end Automercado, where you can also pick up deluxe precooked entrees. Fresh fish is found at several supers in town or you may buy one from the rock fishermen at Monkey Beach. For those who want to experience world class sports fishing, chartered boats can be hired at Los Suenos Marina. Grill your catch or ribs by the pool while enjoying a cold drink.
For those who enjoy filling their days with activities, a long list of recommendations are to be found in The 502 Book, or just ask Forest.
I am a retired American elementary teacher living one hour from Jaco, so am available to answer all questions.
It is understandable if you are new to CR that you will have many questions, and I will be happy to provide all the info you need. I live here full time and love it.
After you reserve, and I have your email address, I will be able to send you lots of info to facilitate your vacation.
I will start with advice on ground transport. And follow with restaurant and food store clues. You do not really need to rent a car at the airport, unless you really want to drive, as I can arrange your airport pick up and delivery with my reliable transport man. He does private pick ups for the whole group for $120. to Jaco, with stops for crocodile viewing, banking, and grocery shopping. Later you can rent one from the usual agencies, like Thrifty, in Jaco. More on that later.
After you reserve, VRBO will permit me to have your phone number and email, so we can chat. I have a Magic Jack number, and like to call all my guests.
You never have to wait to contact FOREST, your host in Costa Rica!
