About Luc and Carolyn
I am an artisan carpenter with a home in Mexico and who travels often. When I'm away, I sublet my 2 bedroom suite monthly during the Fall and Winter and weekly in the summer. My gracious friends live in the main house on the property with their family and manage the suite for me when I'm away.

A little house with everything we needed.
I’ve stayed in hotels near the airport and downtown Vancouver. This home was perfect for our 10 days in Vancouver. We needed to be as far west as possible because our boys are at UBC. The location was perfect for us. Getting to the beach, downtown and to UBC was easy. The home had everything we needed. Thank you.
We have stayed in this house during the school months for three years.
The house is clean, bright, quiet, well maintained, and comfortable. (The heated floors made for cozy living.) Parking is very convenient or if you would rather take the bus, the stop is steps away. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and trails. My daughter liked the trampoline in the back yard. Since there is a kitchen table we set up the breakfast eating bar as an office space which had a nice view of downtown Vancouver through the window above. The owners are attentive and great people.

We are a family with three children (4, 6 and 9 years) that stayed in this place for almost two months. This place was perfect for us. The garden was great - the children were allowed to use the trampoline and all other "toys" in the garden. The location is great - beautiful, quiet and safe, 5 min walk to the beach, 5 min bus UBS, groceries and other shops nearby. One bus, from downtown and to UBS, stopped right outside the house and other busses were close-by. The owner and the other families living at the same lot were very friendly, helpful, open and showed us how Vancouvers live and enjoy themselves. The house was clean, light and well equipped, both the sleeping rooms and the kitchen so it was easy for us to make dinner at home. This place, with the great garden and its location, was one of the mail reasons that our stay was a success. We highly recommend this place.
Our family of four and our dog spent Christmas in this well laid out rental. The location is great for walks in the neighbourhood and beach. The furnishings are high end and sized appropeately for the unit. As the unit is a stand alone, it was quiet and private.

The suite is on the boundary of the University of British Columbia campus and walking/cycling distance to mountain bike trails, beaches, restaurants, bars, groceries. Direct bus route to downtown.
