All three stays wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

This is the third year of renting this spacious, well equipped beautiful home. We stayed the month of November our first year, November 1 to December 12 our second year and this year we stayed October 1 to December 10. We travel extensively throughout the entire year, both in the U.S. as well as Europe and we can say by any standard this home is superb! The home is emmaculate and any issues (which have been few) are addressed immediately by the owner. The home is centrally located where everything community based such as the farmers market, festivals and art shows are in close proximity. Of course the beaches are nearby and there are several great retail shops, grocery stores, and some of the best restaurants on the island are less than five minutes by car. We love to cook and the kitchen has everything to prepare the entire range of fare from basic to gourmet. Bakers will really appreciate the kitchen as well, plenty of baking items to accomodate virtually anything! The heated enclosed pool is perfect for all ages and the outdoor dining and seating furniture is excellent. The Gumbo Limbo subdivision where this home is located is ideal for walking and biking as traffic is very low. Finally be assured the owner has the best communication and timeliness with every single detail of your stay at this home.

Great place to stay.

  • 5 of 5

Stayed for 4 weeks june into july. Although it was very hot and humid, we really enjoyed the wonderful pool. Three generations were in every day. The house was clean and very well equiped. Everything you could possibly need. Ken was easy to reach and quickly met our needs. Bikes were great to get to the beach and there was plenty of fun restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic place, relaxing stay and great owner

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I spent the month of April here. Kent was fantastic to work with, sharing information promptly and with plenty of clear information on the checkin process, the pool and checkout. When we arrived we were pleased to find that the home is just as great if not better than the photos! It is spacious and comfortable and very well equipped. The location is great - a small distance from the main road and an easy bike ride to the beach.

The lanai and pool were relaxing and there's plenty of room/furniture to sit out there and read or have a meal. Our little dog loved sunning out there and keeping an eye on everything.

Kent is one of the most responsive owners I have interfaced with. He was on a vacation himself when we arrived but was checking in by phone and emails with us to make sure everything was okay and we had no questions. The one small problem we had with the dryer was resolved quickly and again with plenty of communication with Kent.

If I have another opportunity for an extended stay on Sanibel I absolutely would not hesitate to contact Kent and stay here!

Open concept, great pool, extremely well-equipped

  • 5 of 5

It's hard to leave a rental that has a better kitchen than your own home. We loved our 2-month stay is this renovated one- level home. The owner was always responsive to even our smallest request. The house is fully equipped with anything you'd ever need for a Sanibel vacation. From pool toys to bikes, high-end appliances and every imaginable baking item, this house comes well stocked. Can't wait to go back next year.

Sanibel Home Away from Home

  • 5 of 5

This is a fine home on Sanibel. It has everything you need in the way of great cooking and baking. The screened in heated pool is fantastic, meaning the entire outdoor living experience is a relaxing "noseeum free zone". We have stayed in several homes, condos and apartments while traveling extensively in the U.S. and Europe. Without question we have not experienced a better value. The home is immaculate, located in a quiet neighborhood and situated in close proximity to beaches, shops, activities and restaurants. Be sure to enjoy the Sanibel Farmers Market when in season. Kent, the owner, is the best when dealing with booking to check out and everything in between. We truly consider this our "home away from home"!

Union Beach, NJ

  • 5 of 5

Just left this house yesterday and was sorry we had to leave. Everyone absolutely loved the house. This house has everything you could think of and even 2 or 3 of some things. House was immaculately maintained and very comfortable. Having everything on one floor was great for my mother in law. The bikes were great for everyone and the small loveseat in the office was perfect for my 4 year old granddaughter. If you wanted to go to the beach everything you needed was available. If you wanted to go to the pool all you had to do is walk out the back door. By the end of the vacation my granddaughter was swimming like a champ.

We have been going to Sanibel for over 30 years. We have rented homes in the past on the island and this house has them all beat. Had a small problem with the step on the pool ladder but Kent had it fixed as soon as he could get someone out to the house. We would definitely rent again if we can.
