Nice place to stay
Nice place, good location for site seeing and a nice neighborhood. Owners are very nice and try to assist with any questions or needs. Would be even better if it was air-conditioned.
Excellent quiet location within easy reach of so many awesome and historical sights and experiences.
We intend returning to explore this amazing city further and will certainly look at the availablity of this property first. Very helpful sincere and friendly owners who are close at hand but not at all intrusive. The property is ideal for two people and comfortable and cool to return to after hot days and evenings of exploring.
The apartment was perfect for us. It is located in a lovely corner of Buda under the castle. Very close are cafes and public transport hubs. The apartment had what we needed and was thankfully cool in the hot weather. We will return if we have the opportunity. Thank you. A little gem!
Nice flat. Good location. Quiet street.
The flat worked well for us. Short walk from Danube, metro, buses and shops.
LOVELY COMFORTABLE APARTMENT. WELL LOCATED IN BUDA
We stayed here in May for nine nights and have just got round to leaving this review. It was an excellent base for our holiday in wonderful Budapest, just a short walk from Castle Hill. Lazlo met us on arrival and gave us lots of useful information about the city and the local area. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with everything we required to make our stay enjoyable. We would have no hesitation in booking here again if we ever return to Budapest. Thank you.
Fantastic property, great location, great owners
Great property, easy walking distance to all of the main tourist attractions.
Extremely helpful owners who helped us with information on everything from transfers to excursions and who even put a bottle of wine in the fridge ready for our arrival and left some toys in the apartment for our little one to play with.
We had a wonderful holiday, were very sad to leave and would thoroughly recommend to anyone wishing to visit Budapest.
Castle Apartment by Vienna Gate takes its name from the adjacent entrance of the Castle of Buda. Very close to most important attractions such as Church Matthias and Royal Palace. Castle Hill and the Castle District are designated World Heritage Sites. There are three churches here, six museums, and a host of interesting buildings, streets and squares. The former Royal Palace is one of the symbols of Hungary – and has been the scene of battles and wars ever since the thirteenth century. The nearby Sándor Palace contains the offices and official residence of the President of Hungary. The seven-hundred year-old Matthias Church is one of the jewels of Budapest. Next to it is an equestrian statue of the first king of Hungary, King Saint Stephen, and behind that is the Fishermen’s Bastion, from where opens out a panoramic view of the whole city.
