Great cabin and great owner

  • 5 of 5

Owner is very easy to contact! Cabin was fully stocked and comfortable. Sugarloaf is a nice area there is a great park with everything you could want within walking distance. And a quick drive to discovery center, downtown, and lake

Inside was nice out side less desirable

  • 3 of 5

The overview said newly renovated not under renovation. The two decks front and back were basically unusable, nail heads sticking out of the boards were a trip hazard, paint was almost gone, stacks of new wood on the deck took up almost 3/4 of the deck. I have pictures but no option to send for you to see

Owner's Response: Guests, I was under the impression that the decks were safe and up to code by the contractor. Until, I can speak with him and find out why the wood is on the back deck and the front isn't completed, I'm going to block the cabin for future rentals. Sorry for the inconvenience, Tonya

Great weekend.

  • 5 of 5

Very nice place. Exactly what we wanted. Close to skiing. Backyard was great for the kids. It also snowed. Look forward to booking again. Tonya even face timed us when we had a very small issue that was resolved in minutes. Thanks Tonya.

not well heated place

  • 4 of 5

good: bedrooms are clean. good hot water. has good collection of dvds for the kids.

bad: Satellite dish connection does not work. very cold in the bedroom. only living room has heater.

Owner's Response: Guests, The tv connection occasionally goes out during heavy snow or rain as in this case. Snow accumulates on the dish. As previously stated, the cabin has a wall furnace and wood stove in the front room. To heat the cabin during cold weather you must use both heat sources. If your expectation is to enjoy the cold weather and stay warm by simply turning up the thermostat, this is NOT the cabin for you. Thanks Tonya
