If you want to experience Toronto, there isn't a more perfect a place to do it from than your very own private and fully stocked adventure layer. Zoom to the club scene in minutes, climb up the CN tower, eat 5 lobsters in one sitting, see China town, drink in Italy town, argue in Greek town, wrestle a dolphin in Portugal town.. Actually the last one was just a test. We don't actually have dolphins in Toronto. *Update* - We now have dolphins! See the new Ripley's Aquarium!
We can easily accommodate 5 adults or 1 adult and 4 children (but that sounds stressful).
If you need a phone with data, we have an iPhone 5C with unlimited data/local talk/Canada US SMS at a rate of 5$ per day. Please let us know ahead of time if you wish to reserve it.
I'm in my late 30s and I love photography and delicious foods. I also love photographing delicious foods and eating delicious foods but not while being photographed myself eating delicious foods. I love love love travelling and meeting new people and experiencing new flavours and colours and sounds. I also hide from loud noises.
Calin purchased this townhome in 2011
You want to stay in our propriety because a) it is central b) it is quiet c) it is stunningly serene d) it makes baby pandas happy.
Vanessa and I really like the gritty feel of the East end of Toronto. It very central and its relatively quiet compared to the posh west end. Not that we have anything against clubbing and party goers, its just that we're.. old now, so we appreciate peacefulness and birds and hikes rather than a alcohol fuelled bar hopping extravaganza.
The happiness of our guests is very important. We started hosting in 2012 and we've have almost 100 guests during this time and each and every one was special and unique. We've never had a negative review because we truly care that everyone that passes our threshold has a positive experience.
The location is excellent for touring Toronto on foot, on bus and tram routes, and close to the shopping. It's as quirky and informal as the pictures imply and the hosts are extremely accommodating.
I stayed here for ten days, chose this chalet over hotel accommodation because of the impression given on this site - that of a well-maintained contemporary home with plenty of room for my travelling troupe (child @ 2.5, grandmother, self) and relatively private spaces.
That impression is entirely accurate, what you see is basically what you get.
It was my first HomeAway experience, and a successful one.
Everything was clean, well-ordered and in very good condition.
From first contact Calin was very helpful. He picked up and delivered my child's grandmother, bought a baby chair for us and dealt immediately with any questions.
We shared Toronto with the Polar Vortex and didn't venture too far too often but it's only ten minute walk to the Eaton Center, not too far even with a small child.
Suitable for families, reasonably close to the Toronto sights (highlights for us were the Aquarium and St Lawrence Markets, a short taxi ride), clean, great owner support … highly recommended.
We live in a developing neighbourhood, a departure from Toronto's posh west end. Because of its grittiness our neighbourhood is often the setting for many Hollywood movies. There are more homeless shelters on the east side of Toronto than on the west side, so if seeing homeless people makes you, dear guest, uncomfortable, you would be best to look for accommodation on the west side of Yonge St.
Despite the delicate social challenges we Torontonians face, please be assured that Toronto is by far the safest metropolitan city in North America, and we encourage all our guests to explore the city by foot, as it is meant to be discovered.
Stroll through one of the many parks and green spaces in a newly designated area in Toronto known as The Garden District. The district is located between Wellesley and Queen streets; Yonge and Sherbourne streets and encompasses many gardens and parks.
Our section of the Garden District is soon to be designated a Heritage Conservation District. HCDs are designated because the areas they protect are considered to be historically or culturally significant and require special care and attention in the planning process to ensure that they are preserved for future generations.
