Clean and Convenient

  • 5 of 5

This was a great property for our family of four. It was a short walk to swimming on the beach. The walk was short enough that you didn't have to take everything in one trip. Also, all of Leland is withing 4-5 blocks and we often made multiple walking trips per day into town.

The house was exceptionally clean, had plenty of space for 8+ people, if needed. We will likely book again here.

Great Location and Home

  • 4 of 5

The location of the house is great - easy to walk to fishtown and the beach. The house is very clean and well maintained. The only complaint was a pump that runs and woke up a few of the guests. Other than that a lovely house and highly recommend!

Wonderful, clean, and relaxing home

  • 4 of 5

It was so great to have this house so well stocked for our needs, especially the linens. It was a great location except next to the road is a little noisy. The other noisy part was the sprinkler system. If I could have turned that off, I would have. There is a pump that runs and then the sprinklers hit the house and it wakes you up. We also were not that impressed with the North Beach. We drove to all of our beach destinations but that was ok, because we love seeing the area. The house is immaculate and kitchen was great and roomy for two cooks. The ping pong table was more fun than we thought it would be. We would recommend a TV in that extra room off the garage for the kids to hang out there too. Thanks so much.

Extremely Clean and Comfy!

  • 5 of 5

This was, by far, the cleanest rental I've ever experienced. It literally felt like we were walking into a new home. There are 4 bedrooms in the home, 3 of which are in the main part of the home and one which is finished in the back of the garage (5 steps between the door to the home and the door to this room, through the enclosed attached garage). The bedroom off the garage has vents and is heated and cooled the same as the home. There was even a ping-pong table in the garage, a great unexpected source of fun! The kitchen had most everything - clean pots and frying pans, lots of dishes and cups. The sofa in the living room was quite comfy, and the dining table was large and sturdy, with seating for 6 (there's an additional small dinette table by the back door with seating for 4).

Mary Lou was very nice and helpful, and did her best to make things right when there was a small inconvenience with the grill. She was great with questions and concerns, a very attentive owner / property manager!

The property is located literally on the edge of downtown Leland. We were able to walk into town at a moment's notice and experience "Fish Town" at its fullest. We got sandwiches at the Village Cheese Shanty, shopped at all the little retailers in town, visited the Leland Wine and Food Festival. North Beach is very close as well, and I definitely recommend going to watch a beautiful Lake Michigan sunset or two while you're here.

I highly recommend this property. Thank you so much, Mary Lou, for the wonderful place to stay for our vacation! When we want to come back to the area, we'll definitely check if this place has availability first!
