About Beverlee & Dean Cobbs

I first came to Estes when working for YMCA of the Rockies in 1976 and fell in love with the area. We have been coming back ever since and finally decided to take the plunge and buy the home of our dreams.

Beverlee & Dean Cobbs purchased this house in 2013

Why Beverlee & Dean Cobbs chose Front Range

We spent two years looking for just the right property in Estes Park. This house is very close to both RMNP and town but also gives you a feeling of being away from all the tourism. Luxurious master bedroom, gorgeous views from the greatroom and a separate game room with plenty of room for a tournament size pool table, dart board, gas fireplace and seating area to relax.

What makes this house unique

This property is one of the few properties in Estes Park that is very close to town, RMNP, and all other services but also very private.

Perfect Vacation, Perfect Home

  • 5 of 5

My husband, a few friends, and I rented this beautiful home for a week. RMNP is a great vacation spot and place to recharge your batteries in the great outdoors. The home itself was absolutely perfect. It has all the amenities you could possibly need. It also has a lot of entertainment options if you have to spend a rainy day indoors. The view of the mountains from the wrap around deck is absolutely gorgeous to watch the sunset. Lastly, the owners are incredibly responsive if you have any questions while out there! Overall - 5 out of 5! Looking forward to booking again!

Excellent views with all the amenities needed plus more

  • 5 of 5

We couldn't have been happier with this stay and the upkeep of the property. It's proximity to town while still having the views it does was right what we needed. Hot tub was great too. Made the drive to Grand Lake and it's a must do for sure. Thanks Beverlee

A Wonderful Time

  • 5 of 5

The property and home is fantastic. From the moment we arrived we were able to leave the "rat race" behind . A charming home with warm personal touches. All of the amenities exceeded our expectations- can't think of anything that was not provided for. The view from the deck is amazing. We will treasure the memories. Would definitely return again. Thanks Dean and Beverlee

Great Property with Very Convenient Location

  • 5 of 5

What a great property with a very convenient location! My wife and I and two other couples spent a week at "Rocky Mountain Vista" in early September 2016. The weather was gorgeous during our stay and we took advantage of it by spending a large part of every day hiking in the Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP). The house was perfect for our group and had everything we needed for our stay. The views from the balcony deck were amazing and the hot tub on the back patio was relaxing after our hikes in RMNP. The house was well stocked with books, DVD movies, CD's with a great sound system, games and a pool table, among other things. Because the weather was so nice, we did not use these items much but it was very thoughtful of the owners to provide this. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and picnic lunches for our hikes into RMNP and it was very convenient to have a washer and dryer available at the house. The location of the house is so convenient; just a few minutes from Estes Park or RMNP. We had an opportunity to see many kinds of wildlife during our stay, most notably many elk and some moose. The owners were very easy to work with and provided a lot of helpful information, We all had a great time and would very highly recommend this property to friends, family and anyone looking to have a great vacation in the Estes Park area.

Great View and Convenient Location

  • 5 of 5

My family of 5 spent one week at "Rocky Mountain Vista" home and had a wonderful stay. First, the name for this house is perfect. This location affords one of the best views into Rocky Mountain National Park as any house you will find in this close proximity to Estes Park. The wrap-around deck gives many perspectives, all of them beautiful, and is also a super place for bird watching. The location is also very convenient to enter Rocky Mountain National Park, just go about one mile down the hill, turn left at the light and in about one more mile you are at Beaver Meadow Entrance Gate. We had no lines at all each time we entered the park and this was in the peak of summer. By the way, when you turn right at that light you are immediately entering Estes Park and all the conveniences of restaurants, shops, etc. The other direction, passing Mary's Lake, is actually a less crowded way into town, especially the Safeway market. We saw many people fishing at Mary's Lake and rock climbers on the ledges near the lake. We spent most of our time hiking, including the Bear Lake Trail, Glacier Gorge Trail to Alberta Falls, Lilly Lake Trail is especially nice in the sunny evening (be sure to take the upper trail around the hillside near the base of the rocks, further from lake but better views). We drove over Trail Ridge Road - amazing - all the way to Grand Lake. We saw more wildlife, including a huge herd of elk, up near the Alpine Visitor Center and moose in the meadows along the Colorado River near Grand Lake. The drive through the Big Thompson River Canyon (Highway 34) toward Loveland is spectacular. As for the house we found it to be very spacious, clean and well maintained. The kitchen has everything you need for preparing any meal you might like, except perhaps crock pot. The owners were very pleasant and reasonable to work with. Detailed information is provided to know how to access and use various features of the house. Check out was no hassle. We would highly recommend this house for anyone visiting RMNP or any other features around Estes Park. Far enough away from the crowded center of town to be peaceful - very tranquil and quiet - but close enough to get there as needed.

Family vacation

  • 5 of 5

This vacation rental has everything one could possible want and more! The proximity to RMNP and Estes Park is less than 5-10 minutes...far enough and plenty of space to get that "away from it all" feeling. Our party of 4 adults and 4 kids, ages 14, 8, 5 and 2, enjoyed seeing the horses and deer near the house and the elk over the hill and using the hot tub, pool table, binoculars, games, DVDs and relaxing on the deck and back patio. The bird and hummingbird feeders were such a nice touch. We enjoyed seeing all the different species, especially the hummingbirds. The house had a washer and dryer, spices, condiments, maps and info on tourist activities and hikes. It was very clean and comfortable and the views are spectacular. We'd recommend this home to friends and family. Communication with the owners was very easy.
