Serene and secluded this one bedroom guest home has the quiet location you desire, close to San Diego attractions and Temecula wine country when you want to get out and explore. Minutes from Grand Tradition Estate & Gardens and quaint downtown Fallbrook. Pacific ocean communities of Carlsbad and Oceanside are less than 30 minutes away.
Located on a four acre property with avocado, citrus and fruit trees. From your patio you can enjoy the views of our vineyard.
It has one queen bed and a beautiful leather couch/futon that can sleep two. Complete kitchen, washer and dryer. Private patio for relaxing mornings and evening sunsets with horseshoe pit for afternoon play.
My wife and I recently returned from a stay at the guesthouse. Our last few visits to the area were spent in downtown Temecula, and we wanted to try something new. This property is absolutely beautiful! The guesthouse is very private and opens up to the owners vineyards. It was soo nice to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning while looking over the vineyards. The guesthouse itself was very clean, with good quality furniture and appliances. The owner Diane was very helpful answering my questions and always got back to me right away. My wife is already looking for our next "excuse" to visit this area, we really had a great time!
Have just returned home to Canada from our 4 night stay at this slice of paradise.
Falling asleep at night to the yipping of the coyotes and awakening to bird song and distant rumbling of Camp Pendleton was absolutely delightful. Dianne and Steve have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Nestled in an avacado grove, freshly picked were awaiting our arrival and were so tasty we did not save them for the intended guacamole. Jose, the resident gardener is a lovely man and should take tremendous pride in his accomplishments. The property is beautiful so be sure to get out for early morning strolls. The vinyard was planted this past February and another visit is a must so we may see it during harvest.
Close to San Diego, Tijuana, Oceanside the I-5 or I-15 will have you there in no time. We had a busy schedule and did not mind the distance as the drives are quite scenic.
Will stay here again.
Our family of four stayed on Diane's property for 7 days and now we are already planning a return trip for next year. After visiting multiple beaches, & sites up and down the coast it was so nice to come home to a "little piece of heaven" after a long day and be able to get a good nights rest (the beds were so comfortable some mornings we over slept). Diane thought of everything for the space~so we never really even had to ask for anything and if we questions about directions to get to certain places the property handyman "Jose" would help us out (what a very sweet & kind man). My boys and I had so much fun making fresh lemonade for dinner every evening from the lemon and lime trees on the property. My kids are still talking about it!! I would highly recommend the property to anyone who is willing to drive a little distance in between their adventures. Thank you Diane for being "the hostess with the mostest". See you next year doll~Regina C. Nunnally (Colorado"
We spent 3 nights here while shooting a film in the area. The days were really long - and this cottage was the perfect place to come back to and recharge. The layout of the unit is lovely. The property is very private - situated in the midst of an avocado orchard. Every detail in the unit is attended and the owners are gracious and more than accommodating. Our cleaning deposit was promptly returned in full. If we ever get back to Fallbrook - we'll absolutely stay here again.
We spent 7 nights here as our "base" to see and tour Southern California. The owner has done a beautiful job of decorating and has outfitted the small guest house with every amenity needed. The kitchen was perfect for preparing light breakfast and coffee. Great hot water and plenty of closet space for luggage and clothing. The patio was pleasant as you can listen to the various birds and wildlife in both the morning and evening. Although the owners are onsite, we had complete privacy based on the layout of the property as the guest house is situated away from the main house. also, the guest house is nestled amongst avocado and citrus trees on the side of a small mountain. This location was convenient to the beaches, mountains, wine country (Temecula) and San Diego. We definitely recommend and hope to come back for future visits!
Diane and Steve are incredibly gracious hosts. The guest house is secluded and peaceful. While relaxing on the private patio, you can hear all sorts of bird songs and the frogs in the barranca. The kitchen is more than ample for any food preparation. The bed is super comfortable! You will be close to the Temecula wine country and all other greater San Diego attractions are well within 45 minutes. The Oceanside beach and the beach community are a mere 30 minutes away.
