Why Ryan Tuck chose Mammoth Lakes

Great Family Tradition in Mammoth...a place for memories

Guestbook comments from the owner

We had a fantastic stay at Ryan's place. It's a great cozy spot, well furnished, super clean, and everything you could want. We had 9 people stay over on a 3-day ski trip, had the fireplace going (thanks for the handy firewood!), ski'd in the day, hot tub after the lifts close, and had the fireplace going at night as we watched the winter olympics. It's literally across the street from Eagle Lift so great for snowboarding. It's right across the street from the bus stop (free public bus) which takes you right into town, and every taxi in town is familiar with the building so can whisk you in and out of there if that's your mode of transport. If you're driving, there's a great easy-to-access garage with a parking spot downstairs. The community outdoor hot tub + sauna is s snowing outside. I thought it was the best area in Mammoth to stay, and the perfect unit in the complex.

Location, location, location.....short walk to Eagle Lodge

  • 5 of 5

Love this place. Great location and suitable for large families. If there had been the usual amount of snow for Mammoth in February, it would almost be ski-in/out. We stayed for 6 days with 8 adults and a three year old very comfortably. Great wood burning fireplace and nicely furnished with great vaulted ceilings, making it feel bigger than it really is. Set up very well to accommodate a lot of ski gear, with lots of hooks and storage under the stairwell. Everything in the kitchen worked well and we cooked almost every meal there. The complex is clean and well maintained and pet friendly. It was a ghost town during the week, but hopping on the weekend. Parking is accommodated easily for two vehicles, in a covered garage. Ryan was very responsive and a fantastic host.

Perfect for a cozy family ski trip

  • 5 of 5

The condo is perfect for a family ski trip. We had planned on 8 people (condo would comfortably sleep 10 with some sharing large beds). We ended up with only 6 adults and had MORE than enough room. Walk just across the street to Eagle lodge, which has everything you need for the mountain. In addition to a 6 person chairlift, there are rentals there, as well as a small restaurant and great apres ski bar. The free shuttle picks up right across the street at Juniper Springs resort (about every 20 minutes there are shuttles downtown, to the Village, and up to Main Lodge, so you don't have to drive anywhere once you're there if you don't want to). The condo owner was responsive and very kind. We couldn't get the community jacuzzi warmed at one point, and I sent him a message which he responded to immediately.

close and convenient

  • 5 of 5

The place was well kept and nice. We had 8 girls and we all fit in there nicely. There were plenty of things to do in the surrounding and it was convenient to everything. We had a great time and loved everything about the place and the rental. Only thing we would suggest is to have an iron and ironing board in house because we needed one for our nice outfits but couldn't find one.

Owner available when utility (hot water) went out

  • 5 of 5

Had a nice stay at Ryan's condo even with hot water going out. Ryan kept us abreast of the water issues alleviating many of the unknowns.

We would recommend staying at this unit!

Owner's Response: Thanks for staying with us! We really appreciate your understanding with the water heater issue in the complex. The HOA has fixed the problem now. Also, let me know when you want to come back and we'll give you a free night as a token of our gratitude for your patience.

Great stay and location!

  • 5 of 5

Only negative of the stay was that there wasn't enough snow on the mountain for the nearby chair to be operational. Which was not at all this places fault. Ryan was very accommodating and the place made for a wonderful friendsgiving trip. Highly recommend.
