This two story townhouse features two bedrooms and two baths upstairs and living dining, powder room and kitchen with laundry downstairs. The cozy fireplace and golf course views make relaxing easy. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking in and laundry includes full-sized washer and dryer. One bedroom has a king-sized bed and en suite bath, the second bedroom has two twin beds and sleeper couch with en suite bath. The dining table seats 6 comfortably. The back deck looks out to the 17th tee box of the Diamondhead Cardinal Golf course. Close to the Clubhouse with fine and casual dining, this property in 10 miles to the beach, 50 miles to New Orleans and 30 min. from Gulfport-Biloxi area activities. Activities nearby include pool, tennis, beaches, kayaking, walking trails, shopping in coastal towns.

Within the Diamondhead community, there are local restaurants, grocery, postal services, banking and gas stations so you don't have to go far to meet your every need.

About Owner / Property Manager

Tom and Nancy are semi-retired, having spent most of our working lives in the Chicago area. We keep busy with our small business, golfing, riding motorcycles, and enjoying the new friends we have met since we moved to Diamondhead.

Owner / Property Manager purchased this townhome in 2003

Why Owner / Property Manager chose Mississippi

Originally from the Chicago area, we bought this property to vacation and golf several times a year in the warmth and beauty of coastal Mississippi. We moved to our 'paradise' in 2010 and now love to share our cozy vacation place with others interested in outdoor life, golf, the beauty of the Mississippi Sound and Bay of St. Louis, and exploring the excitement of New Orleans. We also have our children visit and stay here, letting us all be close for fun and adventure.

What makes this townhome unique

The comfort and convenience of the townhouse were its selling points for us. Enough room to not feel cramped and yet efficient and practical so we could 'play' when we are here. The complex is quiet and friendly and Diamondhead can be a self-contained area to relax, while being able to get what you need - from the 'shrimp dude' who sits by the road on the weekends to the full-service grocer and the nice little restaurants to offer variety, whether you dine in or take out.

The community offers golf, tennis, playground, walking trail, club house with dining and bar, catch and release fishing at local lake with Frisbee golf, a marina and airport; gas stations, grocery, post office and shopping within 2 miles. Gulf coast beaches, quaint coastal towns, fishing and recreation areas are 15-20 miles away. Local tours include swamp tours, island tours and New Orleans sights. We are located 30 miles from Gulfport/Biloxi and 50 miles from New Orleans for casinos, shopping and entertainment.

The townhouse was beautifully furnished, clean, and well stocked with supplies. We especially appreciated the beautifully updated kitchen. The property owners were very personable, quick to respond, and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at this unit again.

Great place

We've stayed in lots of condos and can tell if the owner has ever bothered to occupy the place for one night! This one is livable from day one. Clean, well appointed, and efficient. This one works for us!

March 2016 stay from Ohio

Condo was VERY nice. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay, with

golf as the main purpose of our trip. Used Tom's name at the Diamond Head

clubhouse and got a discount each time we played. Over-all, a great trip.

Already thinking about next year !!

Charming and Quiet

My husband and I were visiting family in the area and were looking for a place that we could have then over for a casual get-together, and also have some quiet time vacation. The condo is alongside a golf course, and across from the Diamondhead Clubhouse. You can sit on the back porch and have your morning coffee listening to birdsong. The photo in the ad looks a bit dark, but the condo is filled with light and has a convenient half-bath downstairs for guests. The kitchen is well-appointed, all of the appliances are easy to use, and the bathrooms have ample counter space. Near the entrance to Diamondhead, there is a small shopping center with an excellent grocery store, Chinese and Mexican restaurants, a drugstore, hardware store and wine/liquor store, among other small businesses and banks. This rental is a very good value for the money, the owners are prompt and gracious with their replies. Much better option than the nearby hotels, in our opinion.
