107 Carlos Court is a newly remodeled three-bedroom two-bath home on a shady lot in a very stable middle-class subdivision some 1 mile from the historic Bay St. Louis depot and 2 1/2 miles from Old Town Main Street and about a mile from the beach. It is perfect for couples traveling with friends, business trips and family vacations. This property features a covered back patio/porch that is ideal for cookouts and has a table and chairs and a gas grill. Inside is a living room, kitchen, dining area, large utility room, 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. It is decorated with Alice Moseley folk art prints and your rental of this property includes a free tour of the Alice Moseley Folk Art and Antique Museum. The property is owned by Mrs. Moseley's son, Tim Moseley. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood and renters are expected to respect the neighbors and be a good neighbor. The house is furnished with linens and towels, paper towels in the kitchen.. The kitchen is furnished with a microwave, electric stove, refrigerator, toaster and can opener. Glasses, dishes and silverware are provided. The house has central air and heat and there is cable TV in the living room and the master bedroom. The city of Bay St. Louis has a lot of parking in the depot and in the main Street area and everything there is to see in Bay St. Louis is within a 5 mile drive. The main beach in Bay St. Louis is at the end of Washington Street. Bay St. Louis is a very interesting place and we have listed many of our favorite places to eat and go to for your information. They also is a visitors center in our historic train depot along with the Alice Moseley Folk Art and Antique Museum and the Mardi Gras Museum. When you're stay with us coincides with an offering of our Bay St. Louis little theater you will receive 2 free tickets with your rental.

About Tim Moseley

As stated before, I am the son of Alice Moseley and the founder of the Alice Moseley Folk Art and Antique Museum. I live in the subdivision that includes Carlos Court. I am a retired marriage and family therapist and have been living in Bay St. Louis some 20 years.

Why Tim Moseley chose Mississippi

I have two other houses in Bay St. Louis as vacation rentals and those vacation rentals support the Alice Moseley Folk Art and Antique Museum. This property is near my home and I purchased it in foreclosure and have remodeled and updated it. The house has a lot of privacy, has large trees in the front yard and it just a very comfortable and attractive little home.

What makes this house unique

I tend to be a very choosy person, but also a very economical one. (Some friends? would describe me as cheap.) I like value. This property is intended for people who don't mind driving 5 minutes to save $50 or more a night for their rental.

Cozy

This was a really quiet neighborhood. The house was clean and cozy. It had all of the basic necessities. I would definitely stay here again. It was conveniently located and everything you wanted to see was a short drive away. I was concerned about Mr. Moseley and his communication, but he greeted us shortly after arriving and was very nice. The rates were very reasonable. The three remotes for the tv in the main area was a little annoying. It would worth it to program the cable remote or find a catch all universal remote. Overall we had a great stay!

Excellent accommodations / highly recommended

Well maintained home, and a comfortable stay. All necessary amenities were there. We will definitely select this property for our next stay. Sure better than motels or overcrowding with family/friends. Pet friendly (with doggy door and fenced yard) was wonderful. We will give this home the highest rating. Owner was very considerate and easy to work with.

The house could have used a good cleaning. There was a smell in the laundry room. There were also some bugs. We were not home a lot so it did not matter as much to us as it would have someone else.

Good place and good location

This house fit our needs very well.We are a family of 5 with a dog. The place was larger than I expected. We had guests over one weekend and used the grill for a very happy get together.

The location is great as it is on a circle in a neighborhood without any through taffic. We were close the the main highway, not too close, through Waveland & Bay St Louis. The WalMart was 5 minutes away as was the two routes to I-10.

I wouldn't recommend walking to the beach as you cross train tracks. Go down St Charles and turn left at the beach and Washington St has the rest station with parking, showers, etc.

Everything we needed for our stay was provided and everything was clean and in good shape. The air conditioner did struggle some days but that may just need a freon recharge.

We hope to use this again next summer.

Quiet Neighborhood, Close to the Beach

Nice fenced yard for our 4-legged family member. House is a very comfortable alternative to a hotel at an affordable price. We have stayed at this home for several years. Owner is very accommodating. I am sure we will return in the near future.

Everything that you might need is very nearby. CLAIBORNE HILL Supermarket in Waveland is especially nice with low prices. Small shops in Bay St. Louis are unusual and a fun way to spend a rainy afternoon.
