Great place and location

  • 5 of 5

Arrived to a spotless place. Nice location just a few blocks from the downtown area. It just happened to be Beaufort's big Christmas weekend. Lots of people and fun for the entire weekend. Comfy bed, nicely equipped. Would have liked more than 1 roll of toilet paper and maybe some dish and laundry soap. We bought all three and left it behind.

Great little house, close to town.

  • 4 of 5

This little house has been attractively remodeled and is a great location. It is adequately equipped kitchen, bath and linen-wise. We were attending a conference at USCB and the campus is an easy 4 block walk. It's also a relatively easy walk (about 6 blocks) to Bay Street, although we drove since we were planning to do some shopping and didn't want to lug packages back. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the afternoon. My only complaint (and reason for a 4 star rating) was that the lighting was dim. Add higher watt lightbulbs and it would definitely rate 5 stars!

Owner's Response: We are glad you enjoyed the cottage on Newcastle. The lights have dimmer switches that are easily overlooked. We will work on replacing bulbs as needed with higher wattage.

A well appointed and charming cozy cottage in beautiful Historic Beaufort.

  • 5 of 5

In the area to tour the Frank Lloyd Wright Auldbrass Plantation, my girlfriends and I enjoyed our accommodations in this well appointed, charming and cozy cottage located in beautiful Historic Beaufort. Conveniently located to downtown, you could walk or ride bikes. The cottage also included two bicycles that we used to explore the neighborhood and ride along the Spanish Moss Trail. Very comfortable for the three of us. If we were to make any suggestions for improvement would be to purchase a minimum of 4 additional place settings of dishes and silverware as to not have to run dishwasher so frequently. Additional hooks/racks for wet towels as there was only one towel rack and the ice maker was slow to make ice, but nothing that really impacted the enjoyment of our stay. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends when in the area. Also of note, TideWatchVacations was very accommodating when setting up our reservations and sending instructions to the home. We were very happy with our experience! :)

Great property, great price

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. It was cozy, comfortable, and only 6 blocks to the downtown strip. It was perfect for the 5 of us. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed hanging out together in the both the front and back living rooms. The master bed was very comfortable, we happen to have a taller bed at home and found it easy get in and out. We will definitely come back again.
