Wailea Ekahi 6C is a beautiful, spacious, renovated ground-floor one-bedroom/two-bathroom vacation condominium in the prestigious Wailea resort area on the sunny side of Maui. 6C is a quiet corner unit located at the front of the Ekahi complex and in one of the best locations in Ekahi Village; it has a very private garden view with a slice of the ocean and is far from any main roads. This is one of the closest locations to the beach and main pool area, which are a very short, flat one-and-a-half minute walk away. The unit has been renovated and is in excellent condition with upgrades such as stainless steel appliances, two new AC units, new paint, new bathrooms, new furniture, etc.

The luxurious master bedroom features a king bed, privacy blinds, a private ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, and a private lanai. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, great dishes/flatware/cooking utensils, a breakfast bar and a dining table in the dining area. The living room features a comfortable pull-out queen sectional sleeper sofa for extra guests, a chair and an entertainment system, including a HDTV, Apple TV, DVD player, cable TV, Netflix and a stereo system. There is also a HDTV with Netflix in the bedroom. The main bathroom features a tub/shower combo. The main lanai features a dining table, lounge chair, and large Weber barbecue, while the master bedroom lanai features comfortable patio chairs and storage for all the beach items. The unit is air-conditioned throughout and has a washer/dryer as well as a safe installed.

The condo is quiet, spacious and well-appointed with all the modern touches and necessary items for a relaxing holiday, including a cooler, beach towels, umbrellas, boogie boards, beach chairs, and sand and pool toys. We’re perfectly set up for kids with beach toys, a playpen that can also substitute for a crib, a high-chair and games. We also have wireless Internet and a telephone with free local and long-distance calling to the US and Canada.

Ekahi Village, known for its beautiful landscaped gardens and spacious grounds, is located on 34.5 acres of lush surroundings and includes four swimming pools, a beachfront pavilion, paddle courts, shuffleboard and direct gated access to the famously beautiful Keawakapu Beach where people of all ages swim, paddle board, boogie board, snorkel or simply enjoy the magnificent views. Ekahi Village is a short walk from The Shops at Wailea, an upscale shopping and dining area, and minutes from championship golf, tennis and other world-famous beaches.

We love Ekahi Village for its beautifully landscaped and spacious grounds, and excellent beachfront location in sunny Wailea. All our condos are well situated within Ekahi Village, close to the beach/main pool and the many amenities the condominium complex has to offer. We like 6C for its quiet, private location and very close proximity to the beach. We make every effort to offer excellent vacation rental accommodations in Maui, especially with our attention to detail, and we promise our guests a wonderful holiday experience!

Ekahi Village is located in the most preferable climate zone in Maui: the temperatures are perfect, the sun shines almost all the time, and the rainfall is minimal. Ekahi Village boasts an outstanding beachfront location with beautiful landscaped gardens on spacious 34.5 acre grounds, and the complex has excellent amenities such as four swimming pools, a beachfront pavilion, paddle courts, and direct gated access to the world-famous Keawakapu Beach. There’s easy access to Wailea, Makena, Kihei, and the airport at Kahului. As well, located just a short stroll down the beach are several excellent resorts, including the Grand Wailea, the Marriott Maui Resort & Spa, the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, the Fairmont Kea Lani Maui Resort and the Andaz, Maui. In the other direction, Kihei with its quaint restaurants and shops, a beachside yoga studio nearby, and paddle-boarding and surfing on its great beaches is also only a short walk away along the shorefront. It only takes a few minutes to get to one of several fine golf courses in the area and the nearby restaurants serve every budget and appetite. There are also a wide variety of supermarkets available, from Costco to Safeway to Whole Foods, amongst others, so you can cook in any time you like. All that doesn’t even begin to describe all of the great things you can do during the day from this outstanding South Maui location!

Life of luxury

We were fortunate to find Ekahi village 6C available. Living in the age of tech where everything is done online was easy. Michelle was excellent with all the necessary forms and email follow ups for payments and information on use of the condo. She followed up with a email upon our arrival and promptly refunded the security deposit. The condo was located near main pool and beach access within minutes. However, we took advantage of the quiet pool each morning located above the condo. The pool is well maintained. We went early and had the pool to ourselves. Good for swimming and water aerobics. The condo is updated with everything in excellent condition. Two full bathrooms were a joy. A fully stocked kitchen with everything needed to cook. We did not. The towels were soft and fluffy. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well each night. The fans and AC were needed as the temperatures were in the 90's during our stay. The furniture was comfortable. Sitting on the lanai was excellent seeing the lush vegetation. We had the peek a boo view of the ocean. The condo was quiet and we never heard our neighbors. Michelle and George thought of everything you would ever need in offering their condo for rent. I would recommend without reservation that this a wonderful place to stay.

Perfect tranquil getaway

If you see this listing available for your dates - book it. We had a wonderful peaceful stay here, with every amenity available. The location was perfect - two minutes from the pool and beach access, but out of the way so undisturbed by people walking past. The furnishings were lovely and luxurious, and the condo was spacious - the photos don't do it justice - and the kitchen was well stocked and we never ran out of crockery or supplies or towels, or things to watch on tv with the thoughtfully provided netflix. The owner & manager were very responsive. We had a great time and would definitely recommend Michelle's listing and hope to be back sometime.

Ekahi is a wonderful condo, strategically positioned in the Wailea area.

Interacting with the owner Michelle was a breeze. She was very responsive and helped us with our late check out needs. Club house area is fantastic to relax after you go to the beach. Enjoying the spectacular Maui's sunset from there rapidly became our every day's ritual during our stay. We will surely be back!

Great location, private and wonderfully appointed

This is our favorite unit of our five or so stays at Ekahi Village. One big bonus is the close proximity to the main pool / beach. Additionally, both the lanai off the living room and the lanai off the bedroom are private. The main lanai has a great barbecue. The unit has everything you need, making it feel like home. The kitchen is stocked with every appliance and cooking utensil you may need, as well as things like salt, pepper, oil, coffee, cleaning supplies, etc. The bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, soap and body lotion. The decor is lovely and everything is new and up-to-date. We appreciated the walk-in shower in the master bathroom for our disabled daughter. The L-shaped couch was very comfortable for family viewing on the TV that is set up with AppleTV for movie options. There are masks, snorkels, boogie boards and lawn chairs as well as nice plush beach towels. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely unit.

Very clean and comfortable apartment in nice vacation village.

Michelle's apartment is very clean and comfortable. It has all the comforts of home ( AC, washing machine, dish washer, carpet, duvets...) and it is not facing another building so relatively private. The gardens in the village are impeccably manicured and the pool has a gorgeous ocean view.

Perfect

My wife and I stayed at this unit for seven nights from Jun.11 to Jun.18. We loved this place and could fully enjoy our vacation in Maui for the first time in fifteen years. The rooms are neetly maintaind and fully equipped. And it's nice to be close to the pool and the beach.We particularly enjoyed cooking with BBQ grill which was easy to use. And the lovely Tommy Bahama beach chairs! We definittely hope to come back.

A cleaning charge of $200 plus tax will be added for stays of less than 7 nights and is not included in the initial quote on VRBO Book It.

Three and four night stays will be considered only if there are three or four days of availability between other bookings. We encourage and take preference of stays of five or more nights.

A deposit of 25% of the total rental cost plus tax is due on booking, with the remaining 75% plus $500 damage deposit due 60 days prior to arrival. If booking within 60 days of arrival, 100% of the total rental cost plus $500 damage deposit is due at time of booking. A booking is not confirmed until the booking/rental agreement is completed by the guests, accepted by us, and the required deposit has been received.

Cancellation policy: Full refund of rental deposit, less the cost of one night’s stay plus tax, if cancelled at least 60 days prior to arrival date. Please note that the VRBO/HomeAway service fee is administered directly by VRBO/HomeAway and is not refundable.
