Total Relaxtion is Right!
Wonderful property with a nice location. Not too far from town, but far enough. Beautiful gardens, clean and well appointed. Private country cul de sac just up the road from morning glory farms where you can purchase fresh fruits and veggies, baked goods etc. perfect morning bike ride to get your morning coffee and a muffin.
Completely At Home
We stayed here with our adult kids and were delighted, first of all, with the location, which allowed us to bike into Edgartown Village; to South Beach; and to nearby Morning Glory Farm. The house is beautifully equipped with everything you can think of. (We rented our own bikes and kayaks; most rental services on the island pick up and deliver.) We did, indeed, gather around the large dining table on the three-season porch for candlelit dinners with family and friends and the deck was perfect for post-beach reading and pre-dinner cocktails. The indoor/outdoor flow is great for large groups and there are lots of "living" rooms that allow different groups to do different things: curl up in conversation, catch up with the office, play board games, and watch TV. Also, we were most grateful for the easy Internet access. The cutting and herb gardens provide added charm and color. Seriously, everything is there and within easy reach. The owners could not have been kinder and more helpful. We recommend booking your car reservation as soon as possible if you plan to ferry your car over. If you stay here, you can relax and know you've chosen well for every member of the family.
Fantastic location, access to the Edgartown Great Pond, kayak to the barrier beach of the Atlantic Ocean, world class birding on the pond, walk and shop at Morning Glory Farm organic produce and coffee shop and baked goods. Minutes to great beaches for surf or for little kids.Walk or bike or drive to Edgartown Village the old whaling center ,visit the museum, walk the village and shop and eat and sit on the waterfront. Take the OnTime Ferry to Chappaquiddick and bike around.
