Top floor unit which was completely renovated in 2013 with premium features, top floor balconies allow you to take in the awesome mountain views and the possibility of seeing elk, deer or a moose alongside the pond. Waterfowl, Blue Herring and White Pelican's are a consistent wildlife sighting you can also enjoy from the two balconies.

The main living space has a 36” HD Flat Screen Smart TV with cable and if you have a Nextflix account you can watch movies or use the DVD/BluRay player. The kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances with a FULL sized range for cooking and entertaining your group. Kitchen also includes granite counter tops and butcher-block bar for food prep as well as an elevated bar for extra eating space. The kitchen table seats 4 or can be extended to seat 8.

The newly renovated master bath has dual sinks, an extra large tile shower with seat and dual showerheads. Plenty of storage and space to make yourself at home during your stay.

The upstairs Loft was expanded for a super-sized open retreat to read or rest while others can watch a movie or play a game in the living space below. It includes a king bed and a queen murphy bed. This loft features high ceilings and is very open with natural light from the high window and has a ceiling fan. Blue pine walls and accents give the unit a cozy mountain feel along with beautiful modern updates. If the loft is rented alone it can sleep 6.

This unit has a private lock-off bedroom and bath suite that can be rented separately if desired. The separate bedroom offers a Queen bed and comfortable couch with chaise that pulls out to a roomy full sized bed. The lock off suite also includes a 32” TV, DVD/Blue Ray player with Netflix capabilities. There is a mini kitchen with its own coffee station, microwave, mini fridge and sink for the convenience of small meals. Wall folding table for a workstation or sitting and enjoying your morning coffee or a meal in the comfort of your room.

The Inn at Silver Creek is so close to countless Winter Wonderland adventures that Grand County has to offer; 3 minutes to Skiing at Granby Ranch (formerly Sol Vista), 17 minutes from Winter Park/Mary Jane. Just down the road is Colorado Adventure Park in Fraser, you can go tubing at one of the best tubing hills, enjoy a sleigh ride, or book a snowmobile tour. We are 22 minutes from Hot Sulphur Springs, where you can relax in one of their 22 hot pools. We are also within 10 minutes from Devil's Thumb and YMCA Snow Mountain Ranch. For summer fun, we are just 10 miles from Lake Granby and just 17 miles from Grand Lake which is a boating and paddle board haven. Fly fishing opportunities abound as close as the Fraser river that runs right through town or a short scenic drive to Pharshall to some stocked ponds for the young kids. Other great local activities include horseback riding, hot air ballooning, or mountain biking. Granby/Grand Lake also offers access to the southern entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, with Trail Ridge Road taking you over to Estes Park.

The Inn at Silver Creek offers many on-site amenities you may not find at other locations. These include a year-round heated indoor/outdoor swimming pool, 4 hot tubs (2 inside, 2 outside), sauna, weight room, 2 racquetball courts, and tennis and volleyball courts. The building has elevators to make your stay more comfortable. There is also a full restaurant and bar, beauty salon, arcade, and ski rental shop on site. Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. Front desk personnel can provide you with coupons for your ski rental. Laundry facilities and barbeque grills are available on site. A newly updated conference and special events center is also part of the resort.

These units are owned by two families who have a passion for the outdoors and quality family time. Both families have young children and love all that the valley has to offer. From teaching the kids to ski, mountain bike, swim or fish the activities and memories are endless. This is the perfect place not only for our immediate families to get away but a place we can invite our extended out of town families and friends to enjoy this perfect retreat.

The proximity to so many activities was the main reason we chose this location. The multiple mountains for skiing, mountain biking, the local paved trail for roller skating and biking for the little ones is awesome. Just a short drive we can enjoy water sports and boating with the family as well.

Owner's Response: Hello Carol, did your family rent multiple units at The Silvercreek Inn? Our unit was a total remodel 4 years ago and one of the nicest in the entire resort. And we take pride in it on both in the decor, style and cleanliness. It is owned by two families and we both use it personally on a regular basis. Therefore, giving us the opportunity to check on everything. I could understand if your family stayed in other units as I know there are dated and units in the complex that could use a makeover like we have ours. Would love a clarification. We agree the overall resort has areas of improvement again as we personally vacation and come up for ski and hiking weekends at least once a month. They are making improvements and in the winter keeping such a large outdoor pool warm is hard as the outdoor winter weather influences the temp. The 4 hot tubs are always nice. We hope you had the opportunity to make nice family memories in our beautiful condo. Thank you.

Owner's Response: Hello Allie, I apologize your 2 questions about a large pot and a locked private owners closet was not answered and hope it didn't influence your trip. One of them was sent at 9 pm before your arrival date and came as a new inquiry which shows up differently than an email from a renter and I got after you arrived. I didn't answer and still probably should have but knew you would have already been there and as you found our unit supplies a large number of dishes multiple sizes of pots/crockpot, that we personally find to be enough for when we make large soups and meals when we host a crowd of friends. Also with this being a privately owned unit that we as owners use on a regular basis we therefore have the locked doors off the loft and in the bathroom for our private storage and only for our personal use. Nobody has asked about them in the past but appreciate you asking so we could marked them with a private sign to be more clear in addition to the locks that both of these locked doors are private. Thank you.

Beautiful fall weekend!

We had a great stay this weekend! We had everything we needed in the kitchen. It was clean and plenty of room. It was nice to have the door to the other bedroom to close, so the kids' TV didn't interfere with our sleeping baby. It was nice to have the pool and hot tubs to use. We also enjoyed the arcade and the family game room on site. It was very close to both Grand Lake and Winter Park, so there were activities galore. The highlight was the beautiful yellow trees! Thank you so much for your hospitality! The only bummer was the pool closed one evening for lightning. That is of course out of the owner's control.

Very comfortable for our family of five.

We were in Granby with many other family members for an August wedding, some who rented other properties through VRBO and some who rented directly through Silvercreek Inn. Ours was by far the nicest! This newly updated property was beautifully appointed and well thought out to meet a family's needs. The grocery store across the street makes it really convenient to get the items you need and helps avoid spending money eating out for every meal. Silvercreek Inn itself is old and outdated and all the family members who rented rooms through them were quite unhappy. Make sure you rent through VRBO and get this place!

First Time VRBO User

This was our first time using VRBO having always stayed at hotels, etc in the past. The Granby & Grand Lake areas are lacking in hotels so you're rather funneled to using rental property instead. Having said that there are plenty to choose from so you have to do your homework before committing.

This unit was, as advertised newly renovated in the kitchen & bath areas and they were nicely appointed. There were some things broken when we arrived: deck door & window blinds bent & in need of replacement. The screen on the window was bent & detached. There was partially burned wood in the fireplace. These are all things you could get charged extra for so I called the owner to advise. She was unaware and appreciated the phone call and said would get those attended to. The rental unit was otherwise in good shape and clean. The complex was starting to show it's age with some wood rot in many exterior locations. So those are the negatives....not much to complain about.

SilverCreek is in a very good location with Grand Lake just 10-15 minutes north on 34 with all the touristy stuff you could ever want...and just another 5 minutes north of there is a really good ATV rental place that literally puts you right on the Arapahoe base - we spent an entire day doing that. Of course you also have Trail Ridge and the Rockies just north - very good day trip you can take you time and have a short drive back to a comfortable place to stay in the evening. Also Granby right there and a decent grocery & liquor store, gas station right across 40 Hwy from SilverCreek. About 30 minutes west on 40 Hwy there is river rafting which we did one day - very nice. About 30 minutes east on 40 Hwy is Winter Park....again - does not disappoint - plenty to do in the Summer and the Alpine slide was fun. We also took a day trip down to Garden of the Gods and Seven Falls in Colorado Springs - it's a 3+ hour drive but through some nice scenic country. You don't want to miss either - worth the drive.

SilverCreek is a quiet area considering you're right on 40 Hwy. Just some light traffic outside at times but you're not right on top of a congested area. Behind the complex is a rodeo park - Saturday night after the rodeo there were fireworks. Very nice touch to our last evening there.

Spacious and Comfortable for Large Famlies

We really enjoyed the unit, the amenities like hot tubs, pool, fitness center, racquet ball, and restaurant - all able to be enjoyed without going outside. As well as the easy proximity to Ski Granby Ranch.
