2 blocks from the heart of Downtown and the SC Mission atop Mission Hill!

The Flat/Studio Apartment sleeps up to 2 adults, in the French inspired bedroom with an excellent Queen bed (twin roll away and pack~n~play available upon request); Laundry room W/D, Full kitchen with Gas stove (may you find all you will need) and bathroom with a romantic claw foot tub (bath/shower) and marble floor. Also, wood floors through out; Located on the bottom floor.

Please know this is on Hwy 1 and very quiet compared to other hotels in the area along Hwy. 1 Easy commute to Hwy 17 and up the Coast. Coming from San Francisco is easy too; one turn into the driveway as you enter Santa Cruz!

This apartment house is like a hotel, located in Downtown Santa Cruz. (see map) It is a Victorian Building that has always been 3 apartments; each with their own laundry, kitchen, bathroom and parking. The owners live very close by and are quick to be at your service should you need anything. The apartment is equipped with all you will need; sheets, towels, kitchen items. We are a licensed hotel/BnB with the City of Santa Cruz. Hope you enjoy your stay in the Cruz!

The apartment is beautifully renovated and spacious. Parking is available at the rear of the house and is easy to enter/exit although the driveway entrance to the road is a bit narrow so be careful with wider cars! It was cold during my trip and I appreciated the heating, which warmed the main room up quickly. I didn't meet the host but email/text communication was always quick.

My husband I stayed here for two nights in September 2013. It is a charming apartment. Furnished with antiques, original art, and fully equipped kitchen. The location is only a short walk to downtown shopping and restaurants. The owner, Michelle, met us at the apartment and showed us the ropes and left us with local information, maps, and schedules. We will not hesitate to book with Michelle in the future. We do recommend this property!

Nothing to write home about......

The place was nice. It has a bedroom and kitchen area. No living area. It is close to town, good location. Be advised it does sit on a very busy intersection and there is a lot of traffic noise. My biggest frustration was we were charged a pet fee $35 because we originally planned to bring our pets. We didn't bring our dogs and boarded them. I contacted the owner and request reimbursement. She never reimbursed me. While it is only $35, lack of reimbursement and communication in my mind is unexceptable and I will not be returning to this rental.

Charming victorian apartment with everything we needed. Positioned in an historic neighborhood near UCSC, freeway access and easily walkable to downtown. Very well kept space with beautiful artwork, lovely furnishings and comfy bed. We'd love to stay at Nicely's again!

Quiet and convenient

We had a lovely stay here. Very walkable to lots of great restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. We even walked all the way to the boardwalk! The apartment had lots of space and everything we needed. Very quiet despite being near a major road and the bed was comfortable too :)

The little flat was adorable and the fact that it is pet friendly makes it one of a kind in Santa Cruz. Best dog beach ever close by. Our little cattle dog had as much fun as we did.

Very well equipped and the art work (done by the owner) was lovely.

Great location-close to everything we wanted to do.

We would definitely stay here again.
