About Kelly Cooke

We are Denverites who have lived in Denver since 1994. After meeting in 2002, we always shared a passion for snowboarding. Getting away from our fast paced life in Denver and enjoying the mountain life is what drew us to seek a place here. Keystone has always been our favorite mountain not only because of the amazing slopes and night riding but the people in this town. We have 3 children who also share our passion for snowboarding. Sam 23, Kaden 11 and Jax 9.

Kelly Cooke purchased this house in 2013

Why Kelly Cooke chose Northwest

We wanted to purchase our home in this location because we wanted to get a more personal experience and live where the locals live. Plus the views are priceless.

Great cosy cabin with fantastic surroundings!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 5 stayed in this home during late March, and had a great time. We found it to be very clean, neat and tidy, and very cosy inside. It is a beautiful little cabin decorated with the distinct flavors of Colorado.

It is walking distance from the Peru Lift, so we would often walk down (about 5 minutes down, 10 minutes up) to go ski. Needless to say, Keystone is an amazing ski resort.

Parents could chill in the hot tub with gorgeous views of the slopes and mountains while the kids went up to ski.

We woke up one morning after it had snowed heavily, and found that someone had shoveled away all the snow on the front porch and driveway. We thought this was a great gesture and appreciated the extra effort that contributed to this great stay.

There is also plenty to do and see around the area. River Run Village is very nice and a typical ski village. Lake Dillon is absolutely breathtaking. The Silverthorne Outlets are nice for the shopaholics. There is much more to explore in Dillon, Silverthorne and Frisco, which is all in a 15 minute radius from the home.

Apart from having to deal with locking ourselves out once, this was pretty much the perfect week. It really felt like home for a week, and I would recommend this place to anyone.
