Beautiful

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful home. The heater was set on a chilly day which made us feel at home the moment we walked in. We are a group of cooks and wine drinkers so the house was a perfect setting.

You can walk to a few wineries which was lovely. We loved the kitchen! It had every bowl/pot/baking pans/dishes and wine glasses you will ever need!

The beds were all super comfortable.

Lovely stay -

30th Anniversary Celebration

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the Sunset Peak Abode with 2 other couples. The house was very comfortable and spacious. the house is on a quiet street that is very close to Dry Creek, home of many terrific wineries. Healdsburg and Santa Rosa are short drives away and the town of Geyserville has 2 mini-marts and very nice restaurants. The house was a great base in which to explore the area or just hang out. Loved it.

30th Anniversary Celebration

  • 5 of 5

We rented the Sunset Peak Abode with 2 other couples to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. Each couple had a bedroom and bathroom. The house has a wonderful kitchen with all of the pots, pans, dishes and utensils that you would need. The house was very spacious with a living room, dining room, family room, great front porch and a back yard with hot tub and gas bar-b-que. The location is walking distance to "downtown" Geyserville. (Downtown is in quotes because it is very small but has 2 mini-markets and very nice restaurants.) Healdsburg, Santa Rosa and (most importantly) Dry Creek Road with numerous wineries is all within 10-30 minutes drive on an easily accessible Hwy. 101. The bedrooms were very comfortable and having a laundry room upstairs means you don't have to pack a lot of clothes because they can be washed. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay and hope to be return visitors soon. Corinne is very responsive and attentive to your needs. She obviously takes a lot of pride in her home and it certainly shows. Thanks for the great stay.

Fabulous house

  • 5 of 5

My family of 6, consisting of 3 adult couples, just spent a delightful

5 days in Corinne’s Sunset Peak Abode. It was perfect for our needs

with 3 king size bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The beds were

extremely comfortable and all rooms were fully equipped.

We enjoyed the roominess of the house along with the fully stocked

kitchen. Several nights, we used the outside grill to cook delicious

meals with food purchased from a local grocery or farmers market.

The house was spotlessly clean when we showed up and Corinne met us

at the house and gave a quick tour of the property. She was

fabulous to work as this was our first house rental across the

country. She answered emails and phone calls very quickly and

provided all the info we needed to make this house rental a wonderful

experience.

I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to

spend their days in the Sonoma Valley engaging in

leisurely hikes, wine tasting , and family time.

Everything you need to have a beautiful wine tasting weekend!

  • 5 of 5

This place was perfect! There were nine of us staying there and we all slept comfortably! I actually slept on the pull-out couch and (with the memory foam mattress topper) was super comfortable! The location of the house was great! We could walk to little tasting rooms in Geyserville! It was such a cute little town! I would definitely stay here again! :)

In the heart of Sonoma County Wine Country there are activities for all. Biking the rural road of the area has become a special draw to avid cyclists. Several marathons are scheduled from spring to fall. The Sunset Peak Adobe is central to three of the best wine tasting areas; Alexander, Dry Creek and Russian River Valleys. The town of Healdsburg is a short 10 minute drive to some of the most wonderful galleries, shops and restaurants. In the summer there are Tuesday night free concerts in the town plaza that draw some unique performers with a variety of musical styles from jazz and rock to country. The Pacific ocean is less than an hour away with several state and local parks to enjoy a day at the beach. The drive to the coast is scenic, winding among tall Redwood tree and sweeping vineyards. Many fun tasting rooms can be discovered along the route.
