About susan kelley
I have lived in Colorado over 15 years. Originally hailing from Alaska, I am drawn to the mountains and the sunshine that Colorado has to offer! My first home in Colorado was the fabulous town of Telluride. After many wonderful years skiing and kayaking the mountains and rivers of the San Juans, I moved to the Boulder area. I now live in the cozy little town, just south of Boulder, called Louisville. My hubby, pooch and I live right around the corner from the property. A real plus for meeting and helping out our guests!

Why susan kelley chose Louisville
This property, originally built in the 20's came on the market in an extreme state of disrepair. Very dark and very untended, my husband, an architect, saw tremendous potential in the place with its expansive views of our local park and full southern exposure. After completely gutting the interior of the house, it was transformed into the beautiful, stylish sun filled home it is today!

Great little house, great location
This is an old house that has been renovated and has retained a lot of the "old house charm". The fenced yard was escape proof for two small terriers. The backyard looks out onto a large park that includes a very well designed dog park. There is a walking trail right across the street. For someone traveling with dogs, this place is great.
Thanks for taking time to write a review-it was a pleasure to have you as a guest! I am glad you and your puppers enjoyed the house!
Clean, cozy, and you can't beat the location!
This house with a nice patio and big backyard right next to the park was perfect for our 10-day stay. Great value and the whole process went very smoothly! Highly recommend!
Thank you for the kind words! It was a pleasure to have you at the house! And thank you for leaving it so tidy!
Have a wonderful holiday!
Sweet cottage in Louisville - loved it and the town
Home is as depicted on VRBO site. Loved the cottage vibe and great location. Having park next door was great for our dog and granddaughter. Loved being able to walk to Moxies and other restaurants in Louisville. Owner very easy to reach for any questions. We look forward to our next stay on future trips to the area to visit family.
I am glad you had such a great visit! Looking forward to your next stay!
Thank so much!
Great place to stay!
We really enjoyed our stay. We were there for just over 30 days and were very comfortable. The location near the park and downtown was great.
I highly recommend this home.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review! It was a pleasure to have you and your husband as our guests!
Come back soon!
The 3 R's: Relax, Refresh, Rejuvenate
Simple, uncluttered, relaxing place to stay. Love that it borders on a park! Took our dogs to the nearby dog park almost daily - it even has a pond for the dogs that love water! We alternated between eating meals out & cooking in-kitchen is very convenient & large enough for the 2 of us to easily maneuver. The beds were comfortable & we slept well. Everything we needed was on hand. Yes, dishwasher is compact but served our needs. It is a charming house in an excellent location! We walked to local restaurants, enjoying the Main Street ambiance, attended Labor Day Fair, feasted on food from nearby farmers market. Short drive to Boulder to tour Celestial Seasonings factory & picnic in Chataqua Park. If desired Estes Park & Rocky Moutain Nat'l Park are only an hours drive. This house is a perfect central location for access to a lot Colorado has to offer but great place if you also just want to kick back and take it easy for a week as we did,
That you so much for the lovely review! We were happy to have you as our guests!
We would love to see you again on your next trip to CO!
Charming and Clean in Great Location
We loved this house and the park and walking trails nearby, plus the proximity to downtown shops and restaurants. Immaculately clean describes every nook and cranny. The kitchen with it's expanse of south facing windows cheers all who enter. We stayed here for three and a half weeks in July and August.
Thank you so much for the kind review! It was a pleasure having you as a guest in the house! That view out of the kitchen windows is hard to beat!
Louisville is a great town located midway between Denver and Boulder. We have a bustling little downtown that offers an excellent variety of dining options, shopping and a wonderful park . We are also close to amazing Open Spaces that offer fantastic hiking and mountain biking.
