About Brenda Martin
My husband and I love all the outdoor fun West Yellowstone has to offer. After growing up here I knew it was where I wanted to raise our family. We live here with our four small children and enjoy all the town and surrounding areas have to offer; From fishing, hiking, snowmobiling, skiing, and horseback riding to camping, touring Yellowstone, and taking in the local attractions.
Brenda Martin purchased this House in 2006
Why Brenda Martin chose West Yellowstone
We have out grown our starter home and thought it was a great place to share with people so they could experience all this town has to offer. It is located close to the park as well as several of the recreational areas Yellowstone Country has to offer!

This property was a clean, updated two bedroom house that is very conveniently located outside the west entrance of Yellowstone. Communication with the home owner was very easy. Brenda was very responsive. The kitchen was well equipped, the linen closet had plenty of towels, and there was a new washer and dryer available.
Great location to visit Yellowstone! Comfy and cozy place!
Clean and had plenty of towels, which we appreciate! Location was perfect for our daily visits into Yellowstone-National-Park!
Very nice cottage
The place is nice and clean. The owner provide plenty of useful tools. The only downside is the hot water not ease to use.
Great location, some improvement needed
Originally we rented this place primarily for three things: Location, Fire Pit availability, and a Gas Grill. The location of the house is as advertised and excellent. It was easy to get where we needed to in town and access to the park was great. When we arrived the Fire Pit still had snow and debris (trash and burnt wood). This was a bit of a disappointment as we had to dig it out. Not a major loss as it rained quite a bit and the pit was not accessible. The gas grill was very disappointing as two burners worked out of the 6. Realistically it was one because if you turned both on the flame died down to almost not on. This was extremely disappointing as we planned on grilling fish we were planned to catch. If this grill is advertised on the page it should definitely work. Also of note was the internet. At night if you would like to simply check you email, that is not a easy possibility on wifi. Its slow to the point you have to use your data. Future tenant’s should be aware that at the house you will not save on data plans. Overall the house was well furnished and great parking. We enjoyed our trip at the house but would recommend the prior mentioned fixes or amendments.
Great place and very close to Yellowstone
This is a great little place. Very clean and very close to Yellowstone entrance. Owners were very responsive. We had issues with connecting to the internet - and contacted Brenda. She came over while we were at the park, and was able to connect w 3 of her own devices. Unfortunately, when we got home, we still could not. Brenda ended up swapping out the modem and the next day we successfully connected. The microwave also had some issues. Even though we were rarely using it, I let Brenda know so they could fix it before the next renter. She said she would drive to Bozeman (a 1.5 hour drive one way) to get a new one. Zach also stopped by one day when he was driving by and saw us coming back from the park. The cottage is very clean - loved the photography on the walls. We enjoyed eating at Buffalo bar - just a few blocks away from the rental. The kitchen is well stocked with kitchen tools, and a few food items were included - but I didn’t find any even basic spices - so if you plan to cook - I recommend bringing your own as shopping at grocery stores in West Yellowstone is expensive. Checkout was very easy - only thing to do was to wash dishes. I would recommend a page be put into the guide that includes check out information - no matter how small they are. Thanks to Brenda and Zach for sharing your lovely cottage with us.
