Cozy Creekside Condo, Collins Lake, Government Camp Village

Enjoy your stay at this comfortable creekside condo on Mount Hood. The condo is located at Collins Lake, and is just a short walk to the Village of Government Camp and year-round outdoor activities.

The condo has two bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and a fully equipped kitchen. Relax in the comfortable living room and enjoy the fireplace or large-screen TV, or sit on the deck and enjoy the sounds and views of the creek. The two upstairs bedrooms have vaulted ceilings, private bathrooms, and comfortable beds with duvets. The private heated garage has a washer and dryer, and room for two cars and your outdoor equipment. The condo is situated away from traffic noise, and is close to the clubhouse and pools.

Amenities at the resort include a Cascadian-style clubhouse, heated outdoor pool, hot tub, leisure pool, sauna, and nature trails. A free shuttle can transport you to Skibowl for winter snow-sports or summer adventure. Timberline Lodge is just a short 15-minute drive away, as is the Mount Hood Meadows ski area and several beautiful mountain lakes.

There are plenty of things to do just outside the door of the condo, including mountain biking, hiking, exploring, as well as skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. Several great eating establishments are located in Government Camp, along with shopping, a well-stocked grocery store, outdoor equipment rentals, and a cultural center & museum.

The nightly price (see rates) includes routine cleaning. Taxes (7.8%) and a fully refundable damage deposit ($250) are extra. Our rental season is generally September through April.

My spouse and I grew up in the region and live in Portland. We have always enjoyed the rugged beauty of Mount Hood and the surrounding National Forest, and dreamed of a second home on the mountain. We purchased this condo in late 2013, and are thrilled to share it with family, friends, and guests.

We take pride in offering a clean, well maintained, and comfortable condo for your stay. We are registered with both the State and County as a vacation rental, maintain proper commercial insurance, pay all required taxes, and are fully compliant with all applicable regulations. In addition, we own, manage, maintain, and clean this condo ourselves, allowing us to offer you superior value for your stay.

Wonderful mountain condo!

We had such a wonderful weekend at Collins Lake! The condo was very easy to find and had all the comforts of home. Steve was very responsive and helped with any questions we had both before and during our stay. We can't wait to make a return trip in 2017!

Perfect Holiday stay

The condo is beautifully furnished and immaculately clean with so many extra amenities provided by the owners. Everything we could possibly need was provided, including the Christmas tree and Holiday decorations. The location couldn't be better, close to the club house, with the creek below and a view of the leisure pool through the trees and snow. It was perfect. The owners were so helpful and you can tell they take pride in their condo. The heated garage and washer/dryer are a huge plus too.

Excellent place

The place was clean as all the reviews previously mentioned. I didn't find a single stray hair in the house of any previous guests/pets. Usually I'll clorox a hotel room before we use anything, but this place felt like a relative's house.

The garage height was able to accommodate our Pathfinder with Thule case on it. Loved the boot warmer and being able to get dressed in a warm garage.

The place was well stocked. I loved having old towels to use for our dog's feet.

Owner was very responsive and thorough on directions and the house.

Great condo and great owners!

This beautiful condo was comfortable, well cared for and simply a lovely location for our family to stay for the amazing snow that seriously dumped over our ski week! The owner is simply great to work with and we loved our stay. Highly recommend and the value you get for the price you pay is fantastic. My husband and I have been vacation rental owners for years and really value rentals run directly by owners, simply because there are not a whole list of associated fees added on to the purported "cost per night" average. These condos are 3 stories and anyone staying in them must be able to traverse stairs readily. Enjoy!!
