Recently remodeled, this charming and luxurious Old Town home will make you want to settle into one of the best places to live in the country and stay a while. It is located in a quiet neighborhood just blocks to Old Town, and CSU, with quick access to I-25, HWY 287 and HWY 14 that will get you anywhere you want to go in the area. The house is on the N side of Mulberry, so no major streets to cross to get into Old Town making it an ideal bike ride or walk into town.

We personally manage the house, and your stay, to ensure the highest quality experience while you are visiting! We strive to make your visit the best it can be. Just check our reviews and you'll know you've found the right place.

The two bedrooms are both adorned with queen beds, down comforters and warm touches. One of the bedrooms is equipped with its own sink. The bathroom features a unique spindle leg vanity with granite countertop, limestone tile on the floors and walls and a bathtub for relaxing soaks during your vacation.

The kitchen is fully upgraded and well stocked with all of the equipment needed for a home cooked meal! Enjoy meals on a one-of-a-kind custom live edge, walnut table, or on the outdoor patio under the pergola with grape vines and trellised roses. When you're finished, store the leftovers and pop the dishes into the dishwasher for easy cleanup.

We've got books and games for the grown ups, art supplies and cards games for the kids, room to play and relax for everyone.

The living room features a sleeper sofa with pull-out queen size bed to accommodate extra guests (additional fee applies for more than 2 guests), an additional couch, a flat screen TV, a bluetooth speaker for your phone or ipad for music and a spacious but cozy atmosphere to kickback and relax after a full day (or night!) of all that Fort Collins has to offer.

The back yard is fully fenced with a 4' fence to accommodate small (under 40lbs), well behaved, house broken dogs with an additional pet deposit. However, dogs may not be left unattended at the home.

The front yard features a private patio with dining table for outdoor relaxation. On the perimeter of the property, there is a variety of edible fruit to be enjoyed throughout the summer season. Raspberries, blackberries, currents, gooseberries, elderberries and more grow abundantly each summer. Someday, the fruit trees will start producing as well, but for now, they are just enjoyed for their beauty.

If all of that isn't enough, there is a front loading washer and dryer in the home to wash your clothes after you've fully enjoyed local adventures.

The unit is the main level of the house. There is an apartment in the basement with lovely, quiet, year-round tenants. We appreciate our guests attention to and compliance with our quiet hours policy so everyone can have a restful night's sleep. In other words, if you are here to have a party, please seek alternative accommodations.

No smoking is permitted anywhere on the property.

Prices are based on double occupancy. A $15 per person, per night charge is applied for more than 4 people. The charge is not applied for children under 6.

On a quiet street in a convenient location, this charming home is just a stone's throw from everywhere you want to be. There is something for everyone within walking, biking or a short driving distance from the house. The library, the Poudre river bike trail, and Colorado State University are all within a few blocks of the home. If brewery tours are in your plans, this is the spot to be! New Belgium, Odells, Fort Collins Brewery and other craft breweries are just a quick bike ride away for days worth of delicious touring and tasting.

Looking for more nature? The Poudre Canyon is a 20 minute drive from the house where hiking, tubing, fishing, skiing or kayaking and wildlife viewing can be enjoyed. The Horsetooth Reservoir and Horsetooth Mountain Park are just up the hill and offer boat rentals, water sports, hiking, mountain biking and a plethora of wild life.

Even the kids can enjoy the water features in the Oak Street Plaza, nearby parks and playgrounds, The Farm at Lee Martinez Park, Fort Fun and the Science and Discovery Museum.

The First Friday of every month Old Town is home to the First Friday Art Walk featuring local artists, friendly locals and complimentary snacks and drinks.

Throughout the summer, you can find a variety of fresh produce and locally produced food products at the Old Town Farmers Market on Saturday mornings. When a chill settles in the air, the markets move indoors for a warmer experience a few weekends per month.

There is never a dull moment! Free live music can be enjoyed in Old Town Square on select summer evenings. The Aggie Theater or Hodi's Half Note provide great opportunities to see big name performers right in the heart of Old Town. Bas Blue Theater offers theater performances or the Lincoln Center feature music, dancing, drama and speakers year round and are all nearby!

About the owner: Dave and Christa are parents, outdoor enthusiasts, travelers, great cooks, and pretty good company. They both moved to Colorado separately and fell in love with the people, the nature, the community and then each other. They are happy to have you stay at the home where they once lived.

Why the Owner Chose Old Town, Fort Collins, CO, USA:
We realized quickly that our expanding family was going to expand our space requirements. We love our home too much to sell it and the location is about as good as it gets with a mix of accessibility to the action, but a quiet retreat. We've planted fruit trees and shrubs around the perimeter of the property to form a green, edible fence for you, our neighbors, or community and generations to come to enjoy. In the height of the summer season you can harvest raspberries, elderberries, currants, gooseberries and serviceberries. One of these years our apples, plum, pear and peach trees will begin to produce! This place has a big piece of our heart and we think it will capture a little of yours too.

The Unique Benefits at this House:
The pergola out front is support for vining roses, grapes and hops. It provides privacy from the street, and shade from the sun. We've enjoyed so many meals on this patio and hope you will too. Throughout the house, you will find unique touches that make this place special. We have a live edge walnut dining table made from a tree that was cut from just down the street. My grandmothers antique dining table was adapted to become our bathroom vanity. The kitchen floor is concrete with radiant heat in it- it's the best thing to come home to after a day of playing the in the snow!
