About the property

House, 4 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Sleeps 10

Set back amongst tall pine trees, this four-bedroom Brockway vacation home near Lake Tahoe will be your ultimate North Lake Tahoe getaway! You'll have your own private hot tub, and your furry dog companions are welcome here too! Located in the historic town of Brockway, this home sits right between Kings Beach, California and Crystal Bay, Nevada.

By day, North Tahoe's awesome outdoor recreation will be yours - and by night, Crystal Bay's casinos and nightlife beckon. Of course you might choose to while away the hours relaxing in the hot tub and gazing up at the stars, barbecuing on the deck, creating a great meal in the fully-stocked kitchen, or just relaxing in the comfortable living room.

The two levels of this spacious home are ideal for two families or a group traveling together. The lower level feels like a separate space with two queen bedrooms, a full bath, family room with TV, and a small kitchenette for preparing simple meals and snacks.

The upper floor has both a queen and a king bedroom, and full bath, as well as a large living room, dining room, and kitchen that is easily shared by the whole group. And of course, there are wonderful decks surrounding the upper floor of the house, as well as the outdoor, private hot tub - perfect for relaxing after a full day of hiking, skiing, or just exploring the Lake Tahoe area.

With new leather couches and a huge flatscreen cable TV and a DVD player, the living room will be your gathering place. Adjacent are the cozy dining room and spacious kitchen with breakfast nook. Original wood paneling exudes Old Tahoe charm, and updated furnishings and new carpet keep it modern. There's also WiFi throughout the house, a washer and dryer for guest use, a wood burning fireplace, a VCR, books, games, and a stereo. This home will sleep 10 guests comfortably, including your furry dog friends (though a nightly fee per dog and a minimum fee per stay will apply).

Famous, picturesque Speedboat Beach on Lake Tahoe is just down the block for your lakefront enjoyment. Spend the day relaxing on the sandy beach, playing frisbee, or having a picnic lunch. Golfers will want to secure a tee off time and head to the Historic Old Brockway Golf Club with its 3400 yards of beautifully landscaped, peaceful golfing among the towering pine trees and Lake Tahoe views.

Right nearby, the town of Kings Beach has great restaurants, shops, a movie theater, miniature golf, and more sandy beaches to choose from. And Crystal Bay, Nevada, less than half a mile east, is home to a historic casino, restaurants, and nightlife.

In winter, Northstar California Resort is less than 10 miles away for some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the state! Closer to home, you can find opportunities for cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and much more.

After a stay at this Pine Street Old Brockway Classic, You'll want to return to again and again to make more Lake Tahoe memories!

Perfect for our winter vacation

  • 5 of 5

The home was in great condition and we very much enjoyed our house. The hot tub was fabulous and the showers and washer/dryer were all great. The only problem we had was getting the fire started. Otherwise, it was a wonderful place. Would definitely stay here again!

Pleasantly surprised...

  • 5 of 5

...for a last minute booking. My family was looking to find a place to stay before snow season ended and we stumbled upon this place. My only expectations/fears once I've booked is cleanliness. The place has to be clean. Thankfully this place did not disappoint and I was very satisfied with our stay. My family had a great time here to conclude our snow season!

Pleasantly surprised...

...for a last minute booking. My only expectation with any stay is cleanliness. And I was not disappointed or disgusted. My family had a great time here. It was easy to get to and very close to the populated community for groceries, dining, and drinks.

Dirty and broken

  • 2 of 5

When we first pulled up we could see beer cans and garbage scattered about the property. When inside couch had major damage to center seat and another recliner was broken also front facing windows had major hand prints all over them really killing the view of outside so we had to clean them. In the upstairs bedroom a window was cracked and in the bathroom the toilet paper holder was broken and the hot water from the faucet did not work. As if that was not enough on our last night at about 10pm the power went out and we could find no candles or flashlights that would work so we had to drive to Safeway to buy candles. Then upon check out it asks for the garbage to be put in outside garbage can. Good luck finding the outside garbage can .They request you take your shoes off when entering the house but provide nothing but a wet porch to remove your shoes before entering also there is no inside or outside mats to wipe or remove your shoes before entering or after entering this cabin. It's not a bad cabin but it's just not cared for or maintained or cleaned. We also had to clear the driveway and both stair cases of snow and ice to enter the house and there was 2 hours work to remove the snow and ice by 2 people. I would not recommend this place to anyone and would never stay here again.

Beautiful in the snow

  • 5 of 5

We choose this house for the space, the hot tub and the location. The house delivered on all our needs. We were there during a snow storm and the house had plenty of places to play in the snow. We sledded, made snowmen and enjoyed the fresh white powder :) This was a great place for the 6 of us and our pup; we had a great time.

Great location!

  • 4 of 5

Hot tub is gorgeous, neighborhood is quiet, lots of room for people to interact and it's really close to the stores if you need anything. It's not the most modern but it's a great cabin feel. Loved having 2 kitchens.
