Three Bedroom, Three Bath Waterfront, Sleeps Up To 6
About Mark Ferrante
I am currently living in CT, but I recently purchased this as my retirement get-away home for when I do retire in the future.
Mark Ferrante purchased this Bungalow in 2019
Why Mark Ferrante chose Bonita Shores
Owning a place on the water was important to me and this was the perfect little 'beach bungalow' home, especially since it's close to my family living in Bonita.

Stylish and cozy with great outdoor space
We loved everything about this place! It was exactly as pictured. The beds are very comfortable and linens are good quality. The pool area has lovely trees and flowering plants that make for a relaxing space. We enjoyed paddling on the channel and into the Imperial River. I would definitely stay there again if I we are visiting the area.
Mark, loved your house. Exactly what we were expecting. Met our needs perfectly. Short paddle to the Imperial river. Nice neighborhood. Would stay there again if the chance comes up.
. It was convenient to everything.
Was overpriced for a week stay. Wasn't
Very clean, and couch and chairs were very uncomfortable. Beds were comfortable. My husband had to kill a rat in back porch. Wouldn't stay there again.
Sorry you did not enjoy your stay. As far as the price I'm sure you shopped around so the price is the price and you agreed to rent.
For not being clean I'll take your opinion, but I had my sister do a walk thru after the place was cleaned. I can not control the wildlife, but there must have been food left out to attract a rodent.
Quiet, clean, quaint and convenient.
It is a very nice duplex. It has a great view, lovely lanai. It was terrific.
Thank you for the great comments. We try to make every stay special.
This is a pleasant, clean, home with comfortable beds and everything we needed for our stay.
This sweet bungalow was the in the perfect location for our winter
getaway. It's a charming neighborhood where you can walk or ride a bike.
( I wish I had brought my bike or rented one.) I bought a month's member ship at the gym nearby which I used nearly every day.
We had access to nearby Barefoot Beach and Lover's Key Sate Park and many other white sand beaches, good for shelling.
My son brought his inflatable stand-up paddle board, put in at the dock in the back yard and explored the waterways in the area. We also drove him to Everglades State Park where he paddled his board for ten miles on the canoe trail.
My husband and I used the provided canoe , as did our grandchildren when they visited. The grandkids loved the Everglades Wonder Park.
At the wonderful Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary (not to be missed) we watched an anhinga pair feeding their babies in the nest.
Diana and Heinz were a phone call away to answer questions or deal with a couple of minor issues.
We hope to be back next year! Thanks for a lovely stay!
My wife and I spent the month of February in the bungalow and thoroughly enjoyed the month. The location is great. Close to restaurants, the beach and grocery stores. We used the canoe the paddle up and down the river several times and watched manatee almost daily off the dock. The bungalow was clean, the kitchen well equipped and we grilled fresh fish on the grill several times. I would recommend this place to my friends.
Thanks for such a nice review! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and had a great time here and on the river. The wildlife is always abundant and I too love cruising along there. We hope to see you again in the future!
