We love this Granby condo and all the onsite amenities under one roof and not found elsewhere. You can walk from the condo to the onsite fitness room, heated pool and hot tubs, restaurant and bar, lobby business center, conference center and Breeze Ski rentals without ever stepping foot outside!

The location is perfect for all your Grand County adventures. A Free Ski Shuttle during winter is available to Ski Granby Ranch from the lobby or jump in your car and explore the Rocky Mountain National Park, YMCA Snow Mountain Ranch, Devils Thumb Ranch, Grand Lake, Hot Sulphur Springs, Fraser and Winter Park.

The condo has a perfect floor plan for 2 families or one large group. The main floor has a large great room with vaulted ceilings, cozy rock fireplace, large flat screen TV with cable and Roku, kitchen, and dining table with seating for 6. Additional seating on the leather sofa sleeper, and 2 comfortable reading chairs. An outdoor deck with seating for 4 is perfect to enjoy a glass of wine or hot cup of coffee. A full bathroom with large soaking tub fully stocked with lots of towels is also located on the main floor. Attached to the Great Room you will find a 'lock off' bedroom with 2 double beds, vaulted ceilings, private entrance, full bathroom with soaking tub, flat screen Smart TV with Cable and Netflix, and back patio that connects to the main patio offers seating for 2. Stairs from the Great Room lead up to the Loft (Bedroom 2). This room has vaulted ceilings, 2 queen beds and a flat screen Smart TV with Netflix, Amazon, etc. The room has a half wall and is open to below but Guests staying in the loft can not be seen by those on the main level.

City Market Grocery Store, Starbucks, Gas Station, Subway, McDonalds, and Liquor Store are located just a block away.

We are a family of 4 that live in Denver. We love the outdoors and everything that Colorado has to offer. In our free time we just want to have fun and create memories with our children.

Why Fernon chose Northwest

Grand County has been our favorite family getaway for many years and recently we had an opportunity to purchase and renovate this amazing condo. The location is perfect for year round outdoor activities including skiing, hiking, fishing, soaking in the Hot Springs and many concerts and festivals. When we just want to stay in and relax we enjoy the onsite amenities. We like that it is close enough to Denver for a quick 1-2 day trip but feels like a world away. This is where we recharge and reconnect!

What makes this condo unique

We fell in love with the openness of the condo. It has great 2 story ceilings yet it is still cozy and feels like a cabin with the beetle kill pine walls and rock fireplace. We also love that it has the additional bedroom so we can invite our friends and family to join us.

great choice to enjoy all Colorado has to offer!

This condo was perfect for our summer stay in Colorado! It is on the quieter side of Rocky Mountain National Park--just 25 minutes to the entrance at Grand Lake--but still has plenty of things to do and good restaurants. We felt more like we were living with locals, rather than fighting crowds of tourists. There is a grocery store, liquor store, and gas station right across the street, and the town of Granby is less than 5 minutes away. We visited the National Park twice, it's absolutely breathtaking! Great hiking, mountain views, animal life, and waterfalls. We also fished for trout on nearby lakes (recommend making reservations with a guide ahead of time!) and cooked our fresh catch on the grill outside. We visited Hot Sulphur Springs, saw the rodeo in Fraser, rafted on the Arkansas River, and mountain biked in Arapaho National Forest (thanks to the folks at Icebox Mountain Sports who were so helpful with both bike rental and trail selection!) Winter Park is just 20 minutes south for more shops and restaurants.

The condo itself is just like the pictures--it is on the 3rd floor, so you get lots of exercise if you take the stairs :) The kitchen is well stocked. The bathrooms were clean and seemed recently remodeled. We loved having a balcony right off the living area to watch the sunset while sipping wine at night--also great for breakfast in the morning! Fernon was a gracious and attentive host. I just mentioned that one of the coffee makers wasn't working (there were 2 so no big deal), and it was replaced before we made it back from the park that same day!

Perfect unit in marginal complex.

My wife, daughter and I stayed for one week the second week of August. The condo unit we stayed in was exceptional, clean, new carpet, everything we needed minus a clothes washer and dryer which would have been great. Limited number of washers/dryers throughout the complex was irritating, they were always in use, back and forth, up and down...would have preferred to hike the mountains! I'd nix the front entry closet and put stackable units there!

Problem with carpet near fridge" though, staples coming up, cut my toe up pretty good...should be adressed.

I've read that this complex (and I don't mean this condo specifically) needs upgrading and I couldn't agree more! An "Athletic Club?" A small workout room with outdated equipment and a locker room does not make an Athletic Club. Not even a full rack of dumbbells, unless the front desk staff is figured in...when asked about tennis rackets for the courts the gentleman produced rackets all right but couldn't tell a raquetball racket from a tennis racket...he did have two used tennis balls in a can though...great. That being said with updates it could be exceptional. Two racketball courts, two tennis courts, pool, hot tubs...it's all in place and it could be very nice. The plastic divide between the indoor/outdoor pool looks moldy, replace it.

Back to the condo, really nice but I'd sell it and move to the new phase next door. We couldn't spend any time on the deck, constant cigarette smoke, dogs, dogs, dogs, continuous obscenities from below, it just really distracted from "the show"... that being the two dumpsters in view with obnoxious pickups catapulting there trash into it, many of which I guarantee don't live in Silver Creek. If you do look past the parking lot, which looked like a auto salvage yard, there were mountains on the horizon which is where we stayed so as not to spend time at Silver Creek.

The HOA should tighten things up. The ground floor units outside use them as garages I guess, trashed, very unsightly. In the evening we needed to keep the T.V. on (not why we came to Colorado) and volume up to drown out the pounding base coming through the walls or floors, I couldn't tell which. Honestly I DID NOT THINK IT WAS SAFE for my wife and daughter to be there based on the look of the "interesting people" milling around the parking lot. I don't think a call to the front desk would have affected much. I'd ask for a full refund but its NOT the owners fault.

Any feedback, both good and bad is always appreciated and will only help us improve. I apologize and am so so sorry to hear you that cut your toe on a staple in the carpet. I have notified our maintenance to resolve this immediately. I have shared your stated concerns with our HOA. I acknowledge the complex common areas are dated and expect that those will gradually be updated over the coming years. I agree the gym could easily use many more free weights and a few tweaks all around to make an improvement. The smoking, noise and unsightly items being stored in the parking lot is obviously something that the front desk and HOA can address quickly. The guests at the complex change daily and I am sorry to hear there was anyone that made you, your daughter and wife not feel safe. I am happy to hear you felt the condo itself was exceptional and I hope your time spent exploring the area created some wonderful memories for your family. Take good care,

Setup best for winter months.

Property is setup best for a stay during the winter months rather than the summer months. No A/C made the afternoons/evenings very warm in the condo. This is two connecting rooms; pictures make the condo seem larger than it truly is.

Excellent Suite

This suite was an excellent base camp for our hikes at Rocky Mountain and trips to Denver. The rooms were well appointed and very clean. I was happy to see full kitchen and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The only quibble I had was the speed of Silver Creeks internet was pretty bad. Hopefully you're not visiting Colorado to spend too much time online. Like I said the room was great but the overall resort was pretty dated and old. Didn't use any of the facilities regarding the pool or restaurant so I can't speak to them.
