Thank you for taking a few minutes to view our family's home! Our property offers 4 comfortably furnished bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The spacious kitchen offers plenty of counter space with all the necessary appliances and conveniences to spend time preparing meals together with your family. The dining area comfortably seats 8 people and a bar is available for additional seating for meals or an opportunity to sit and talk. The living room also offers comfortable seating after those fun days at the beach or shopping. Most importantly, you have a spacious front porch with plenty of furniture that offers views of the St. Helena Sound. Take a moment to enjoy the summer breeze on the rear side and front side porches as well or simply sit back and read a good book! At the rear of our home is access to the bike/walking path offering quick access to either of two public beach access points. Or take a moment to enjoy an early morning walk or run before breakfast.

The walking path offers a short walk to Whaley's Restaurant and Bar as well as Billow Street Pizza. You are also a very short drive to Pressley's Restaurant at the marina, Dockside Bar & Grill, Edisto Seafood and The Plantation Golf Course.

This home offers you and your family the opportunity to get away from it all. Staying at The Loggerhead on Edisto and being at Edisto forces you to be a family without all the interruptions of daily life. While other beaches are fun to visit, Edisto doesn't come with all of the hustle and bustle, traffic, and planning involved because there is too much to see and do! You simply get to sit back with your family and enjoy your time together. That said, being away from it all doesn't mean you're completely disconnected. Our home offers wireless internet and flat screen TV's in each room.

Our family loves Edisto! Coming here forces you to be family. We're not overwhelmed with too many things to do. We don't have 10 people who all want to go in different directions because no one can make up their mind as to what to do. We cook together, eat together, play games and take walks together. Our time at Edisto is complete with long conversations, relaxation and the ability to just be together with no interruptions.

What makes this house unique

The Loggerhead offered us what we considered is a complete package. Views of the sound from a very spacious front and side porch, excellent space for parking and storage underneath, an open living area with large bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms for a large family. We also like having a yard for the kids and the convenient access to the bike path for family walks and easy access to the beach!

My family had a great time!

It was a nice house. It was easy access to the beach. We loved all of the different and colorful decor in the house. The only thing was the air conditioning down stairs wasn't so good. It was much warmer compared to the upstairs. But overall we enjoyed our trip and will be back. The owners were very nice and helpful as well!

Great House!

We enjoyed a great week at The Loggerhead. Spent lots of time on the screened porch. The house was exactly as described, beautifully decorated and had everything one would need for a great vacation. Owners were a pleasure to work with and responded in a timely manner and were very helpful the one time we needed their assistance. This will be a house we will rent again in years to come!
