About the property

1100+ Sq Ft, 2 Bedroom 1 Bath Home

Built in 1919, the L'il Oar House is classic Bend with style and comfort.

Centrally located one block from the Deschutes River in the Old Bend neighborhood. The neighborhood is an eclectic mix of old-style Bend homes and new modern ones.

It is an easy walk to downtown, the Old Mill, and the restaurants and shops on Galveston and Newport avenues.

This 1100+ sq foot bungalow is spacious and well kept.

The kitchen is well equipped, easy to cook in, and has counter-height bar seating for two. The dining room table sits under a large skylight and seats up to six. Relaxing after a big day in the living room is easy. There's a large flat-screen TV and plenty of comfy seating.

The Li'l Oar House has nice outdoor spaces as well, including a pergola to keep you shaded when the summer sun really heats up. 2 cruiser bikes are included to round out your stay.

There is driveway parking, a mud room in the home to store boots, etc. as well as a separate clean storage shed in the fenced backyard for bikes, skis and paddle boards.

We live nearby and are always available via cell or in person to help make your stay as perfect as possible.

Walk (or float) everywhere from this central downtown location -- Drake Park, Columbia Park, Harmon Park, the Old Mill District, 10 Barrels Brewery, Jackson's Corner, Riverside Market, downtown, you name it! Make your stay easy!

Linens and towels are included. Although we love our furry friends, please no pets.

Great Home Away from Home

  • 5 of 5

The house was clean and well located to all the best areas of Bend. It was nice to be able to walk to the park and the downtown and Mill areas for dinner and activities. The city of Bend was crowded because of the Eclipse and parking would not have been easy. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook there. The backyard was a great place to relax and enjoy the evening. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Bend.

Clean and cozy

  • 5 of 5

Very nice, well-cared for home on a quiet street in Old Bend. Comfortable, clean beds, good shower and everything in kitchen worked well. The home has lovely seating areas both in the front and the back of the house so you have multiple places to gather or go be alone to read your book. Close to beautiful park and great restaurants.

Tastefully furnished, quality fittings. Everything you might want. Best location, we walked into town and to restaurants and breweries. We would like to return for winter sports. Although floating down river was a really special experience.

Our stay at the Best Li'l Oar House in Old Bend

  • 5 of 5

This super cute, clean, and comfortable home served as the perfect base for our vacation in Bend. The location is perfectly located--just minutes to the Old Mill District, downtown, and the highway. There's also a grocery store and a few eateries within walking distance. We had a terrific time and enjoyed our stay at Heather's home.

Thanks so much!
